New versus Old

Since cloth diapers are pretty much a thing of the past, it's getting harder and harder to find diaper pins. I was glad to have found these and at a reasonable price. Dritz has always been a well-known supplier for sewing needs, so I felt pretty confident ordering this product. However, I've noticed that over the years, ALL kinds of safety pins, even those made by the famous Singer brand, have really deteriorated in quality. What's up with that? I now hold on to my old, sturdy pins like they were made out of gold! So while these Dritz diaper pins got the job done, they too weren't like I'd hoped they'd be. But, they were still better quality than other new ones I've tried. The bottom line is, if you need diaper pins, these are probably the best of what's out there.

Don't stick it to ya' . . . . .

Heh heh heh. These diaper pins are super good. I'm a great grandma, so no babies in my house, but I use these for many other things. I sewed when I was younger. Dritz makes quality sewing notions, pins, etc. I keep a diaper pin attached to my car keys so I can pin them to myself and not lose them when my arms are full carrying things to/from my car. All kinds of odd uses where a regular safety pin might bend. And I really do like the "head" that pushes down over the tip keeping it from accidentally sticking someone. They're not cheap, but no name ones cost about the same. I like to stick (no pun intended) to name brands. These don't bend and don't rust.

Sturdy safety pins, like the old days

If you are looking for a sturdy safety that lasts longer than one use then you are looking in the right place. These Dritz safety pins are heavier gauge metal and stronger plastic than the cheap 40 for a dollar pins you are tired of, we sure were. The sharp end locks securely in place and you can just feel the quality as you use these pins. We use them with confidence every day.

good quality and easy to use. The length of the pin is about 2'' (or 2.1 inch)

The pins are very easy to use and good quality. I used them on everything daily like the other review (Rose39) did. Also Thank You to other reviews Rose39 and SewWhatNow who answers my question about the length of the pin. I check Dritz website but they don't say anything about the length at all (I could take 1 star off ).

Total scam

Description plainly says 3 packs of 4 pins and says 12 pins. I received 1 pack of 3. To get a refund I must go to the UPS center and ship it back. I can no longer drive and it’s more tha than 20 minutes from here. I’m not going to ask my family to drive that far to return it. Buyer beware.

Why the price drop after I purchased this????

Dritz have always been quality in their products. I love that these SAFETY diaper pins have the BENT in them, making it safer when using. Didn't appreciate the fact that Amazon.com DROPPED the price IMMEDIATELY after I made the purchase of this item. Kudo's to Amazon for having this product, shame on them for their PRICE manipulation.
