Rubber Hose/Pipe Adaptor Boot

*It arrived early and in time for the project to replace a commercial disposal with a smaller one in a church kitchen prep sink. *It fit perfectly and it made it very easy to make the new installation in a very tight location. *Best of all, it didn't leak at all when we filled a 15 gallon sink and turned on the new disposal to really put some pressure on the fitting. Not one drop. *We took all the PVC fittings back to the hardware store and saved much more than this boot cost us. *We are very happy with the results.

Perfect for coupling hand sanders to a shop vac

You can't buy this particular size in big box stores, thus, Amazon to the rescue! I used this to attach the dust exhaust port on our hand sander to our shop vac. Prior to this method, dust flew everywhere. I used a bigger size for larger sanders, which also worked great. I plan to buy more of these so each of my sanders can have their own coupler and all I'll have to do is switch out the vacuum side. So convenient!

Intended purpose

if you are using this item for it intended purpose, then you probably don't care, but it stinks! Strong rubber chemical smell. Might affect other uses than intended purpose. Such as what you asked? We use it too adapt a widemouth bottle to a smaller 1 inch opening bottle.

Coupler seemed a bit big for 1.25" pipe and was too large on 2" steel pipe

I had to replace a rubber 2" to 1.5" rubber coupler for my bathroom pipe. Yea, I know not to code but that is how I purchased the house. Now, for the interim I wanted to just get 1.25" piping into the coupling. The big box stores only carried 2" to 1.5" size. Went right on Amazon and ordered this. When received I slipped over the 2" steel pipe. I was expecting a tight fit like the one I removed. It was loose!!! I had to cut the old rubber coupling, slip it into this one and fit it on the pipe. On the 1.25" end - that was also too loose. I checked thinking maybe it was a mistake pack but it wasn't. Luckily, when I tightened up that end it did grab the pipe. No leaks, but short of 5 stars unfortunately. It will work short-term... on a positive note; better than what was there before..

Parfect fit & seller is fair

Needed 2" x 1 1/4" but by accident ordered 2" x 1 2/2" and needed to replace the first order before shipment. It did not work and both products arrived at the same time. However, the seller refunded the canceled item w/out any issue. The product appears heavy duty and fits snug on galvanized pipes sch. 40. In fact, it so tight even before securing that I used WD 40 to put it on before tightening. Exceeded my expectations. Works like a charm. I would buy again from this seller.
