Even though shipped from overseas, well worth the trouble

I love Cebelia thread and use it mostly for tatting, sometimes for crochet. It's always so easy for me to work with and the colors seem to hold fast better than some threads I've used. This makes it great for doilies (they gotta get washed eventually). Seller, Minerva, was very easy to work with and the complete order arrived ahead of schedule. This is where I'll be getting mine from now since this thread is not sold in the USA anymore (except by special order and you have to order a whole case, way more than I'd ever need).

DMC crochet thread has become difficult to find.

This has been my favorite crochet thread for many years and now, I assume it is because it is made in France and we are not importing as much. Leave it to Amazon to locate some.

This is quality cotton. You get what you pay for. You can buy cheaper brands but is is not the same as DMC.

As it came from free of postage I was very pleased with the time it took. It is for a project of Snowflakes for next year but I haven't actually used it but I am always pleased with DMC products.

TOO SMALL

I anticipated for the skein to be bigger. They arrived, the size of a small clementine. Would not have paid over $10 each, if understood the size. Very disappointed. Feel like I was duped.
