Great loom knitting kit

Flimsy construction

I loom knit. Saw this & thought that it would be a good starter kit for a little neighbor. It came with everything, box ok & since I already loom knit the instructions were not an issue (also, YouTube has many how to videos). My issue is that it is very flimsy. The pegs will snap quite easily if an enthusiast youngster(like my little neighbor)isn't careful. I know because I've seen it happen with this sort of plastic. I will be getting a set I've purchased before that is very sturdy for my little neighbor. I will not be giving her this set. Not worth the money. Yes, 5 looms was what got me however I can purchase a set of 5 of sturdy round looms for the same amount. The yarn is 100% polyester.

Really fun for my daughter

I bought this product for my daughter as she was getting tired of being on screens all day. She had shown some interest in knitting, so I thought we would give this a go. First impression is that you get a lot of stuff for what we paid, so good value. My daughter tore into it, and knitted herself a scarf. She is now on to making Dad a hat, so I am excited. I will update reviews with pics, but as of right now I would definitely recommend this product. Anything that keeps my daughter’s attention for more than 2 day, and is not a screen/phone, is 5 stars in my book!

Experienced Knitters

I tried using this knitting station as someone who does not knit, crochet or stitch at all. I found it to be difficult! The instructions state not to wrap the yarn too tight, otherwise it cannot be looped. The instructions also state not to wrap the yarn too loose, otherwise it might fall off of the loom. I had a hard time finding a happy medium that would allow me to successfully complete any of the projects. That said, the kit comes with plenty of yarn and all in great colors and the material seems well-made. Maybe the loom could use an upgrade to help hold the yarn onto the pegs. Or maybe, someone with more knitting experience would know how to resolve this problem! In my opinion, an 8 year old could use this, but would probably require help from an adult.

Fun craft item

It's a nice little set. The only thing I didn't like is the looms aren't that sturdy. Got this for my 11 years old. And she perfers to use my more sturdy looms vs the one's in this kit. She feels like the one's in the kit might break when she uses it.

Instructions were not clear

I had to watch YouTube videos to figure out how to use these because it comes with one sheet of unclear instructions. It's easy but tedious work that takes a long time to get results. I was trying to teach my eight year old how to do it and she lost interest quickly. I played with it for thirty minutes and got an inch of knit fabric. Gonna take forever to finish a project
