Great Toddler Project
Great toddler project for rainy day or any day. So easy to use, they can do on their own. No glue needed.

Worth an hour
Have you ever done diamond dots? If so, this is like the toddler version of that with various colorful objects that you have to fit very loosely into the designated area to make a rainbow. The set comes with all sorts of fun little things, like puff balls, foam shapes, and jewels. I gave this to my 4-yr old and she really enjoyed putting it together. You peel off the protective sheet and the whole rainbow and cloud shape is sticky. You don't have to be exact, but it was still fun to guide her into keeping the colors together in their sections. Just the right level of hands-on challenge for that age. We had a few issues though. The poster comes sort of rolled in the box, so it was a bit of an effort to get it to lay flat on the table to assemble. However, the instructions tell you to stick in on the wall first and then add the decorations which would probably help, but didn't work for my situation where I needed my daughter working beside me. The adhesive strips that fix the poster to the wall worked great! But the adhesive on the whole rainbow was not strong enough to hold all of little items; the puff balls especially all fell off quickly (and repeatedly). It looked fantastic when we finished at the table, but after hanging it about 25% of the items fell off within a few hours. We also had a problem with the clouds. In the picture they show eyes and puffy cheeks which we tried to recreate. Those need to be stuck down first, then add the cotton. Because when you stretch out the cotton all over the clouds, it sticks fast and you can't get it off again to make room for eyes. We had to leave them off because they just wouldn't stay in place. So the quality wasn't perfect; it will not be a lasting work of art around our house. But let's face it, that's not the point, right? Instead, my 4-yr old had one busy, happy hour and that was totally worth it.

Fun activity for kids, not sticky enough
My son loves doing art projects and he loves arranging colors in rainbow order, so he had so much fun putting this piece of art together. The kit includes everything you need and even has sticky strips to hang it on the wall. There are so many different decorations that are neatly packaged by color. My son was able to pretty much do this entire project by himself. The picture is pretty big and has a plastic sheet covering it to ensure that it stays sticky. Unfortunately, this isn't sticky enough and after a few hours, many of the pieces fell off no matter how well I stuck them back on. My son was pretty frustrated that his designs were falling off before his eyes. Overall, it's a cute concept and has lots of different shapes to decorate with, the stickiness just needs to be stronger.

Great idea for a toddler activity but it needs improvements
The poster was very easy to place on the wall with the included hanging strips. I was really excited for the idea of my three year old daughter creating her first poster with this item, and it looked very promising, however some items left residues on the poster, making the surface not reusable after a few uses. Specifically, the cotton balls left the most cotton residue on the surface (see the first picture), and my daughter was specifically interested in placing them, removing them and placing them again all over the poster. I had to remove these cotton balls, and she was able to continue the poster using the other items on the remaining surface that still had some stickiness. This activity gave her several hours of entertainment and she was very excited with the poster. However, the colored balls also left some residue on the poster (not as much as the cotton balls), and the next day the poster had very few places where items could reliably stick to it. The first picture shows a close up of the cotton ball residue, the second picture shows the surface of the poster the second day, after several hours of playing, where you can see residues on the majority of the poster area. I do not think it can be reused again since there are only a few places where items still stick. The wall poster is suitable for toddlers aged three or more. Due to the small items that it contains, I think that close parent supervision is necessary at all times for children playing with this poster.

Not really sticky
I agree with other reviews that some of the pieces don't really stick here. That said, it was cheap enough and kept my daughter busy for a while, so it was worth it for me.

Not sticky enough
My 3 year old daughter was very excited about this kit. Her older brother has been working on a project for school and she was happy to have her own “project”. So I set it up for her and she got to work immediately. She was so proud when she finished! Unfortunately, after a few minutes the items began to fall off of the rainbow, ruining her hard work. Understandably, she was pretty upset about this. The concept is great; it’s an easy combo of process and product art. Fine motor and color sorting skills are being exercised while creating something beautiful. Plus, it is easy for parents to set up and step back to let them create with little need for help or guidance. I suppose you can argue you get to exercise some emotional intelligence skills after their beautiful rainbow falls apart…. The paper really needs to be stickier to hold the weight of the pieces. Just a word of caution for parents: there are small parts. They aren’t tiny and they are age appropriate for 3+ years old, but you will still probably want to monitor your little one, especially if they are still putting things in their mouth. This is not an issue for me at all, but my child is an older 3. Overall, it occupied my daughter for a good amount of time while she practiced skills that she is developing with minimal step up or interference from me, and I am grateful for that! It needs improvements to the stickiness of the rainbow so that the child can keep their artwork and display it proudly.

Fun but single use
My kids (5&2) had a lot of fun sticking all the items on the rainbow. It was a great visual representation of a rainbow. Some of the heavier items did fall off the next morning, but overall expect this to be a one time activity.
