Definitely Recommend

I love this tumbler. I bought this to bring my coffee to school and work with me without having to hold it in my hand. I had tried other bottles but even putting them in the side pocket of my bag, they would spill and leak out of the straw hole. This one is absolutely leak proof from my experience. I have even tried holding the bottle completely upside down for a while and it has not leaked at all. I love that there is also a straw option for drinking, as I have not been able to find something leakproof with a straw before this. It has also been able to keep my drink cold all day (I have not tried with a hot drink yet). The only slight inconvenience is cleaning it. The lid has a few parts that come apart for cleaning (I'm sure you can probably scrub it put together and be fine tho) which were a little hard to figure out at first. I looked up a YouTube video (from the Contigo channel) and have now gotten the hang of it and it is not too bad once you're used to it. Definitely recommend!

Ice all day!

It keeps my ice all day, I love that. But going from auto seal travel mugs to this takes getting used to. If you don't remember spin it closed it makes a HUGE mess if knocked over.

Works well for coffee

The concept is a little strange but it works well for coffee. Might recommend a more standard unit if you don't absolutely need the dual function.

Very sturdy steel tumbler

I got the Contigo Dual-Sip tumbler 24oz in Dark Ice. The color is easy on the eyes and it looks and feels very solid. I once had a similarly-colored water bottle from this brand that I used for a long time until it started leaking, but I took it everywhere…. I love that I can use this tumbler for hot or cold liquids. I even tested it with some moderately hot soup. After 4 hours it was still warm, but just above lukewarm, sadly. So, depending on the liquid, I am unsure how many hours it will actually hold the heat. It says up to 8, but I’d say closer to 4-6 max in my experience with this. If you want something really toasty hours later, it would have to be scorching when you first put it in, fyi. So far, it’s held up great for me. The seal is strong and there’s been no leaks. I love that it’s BPA-free as well and I’ve noticed no metallic aftertaste or anything. The size is a little weird. It’s a unique in-between, smaller than a full-size water bottle but larger than most small thermoses. It holds a lot of liquid yet the base still fits in your car’s cupholder. I have small hands and this is thick but I can still grasp it. Couple of tips: if you Do use it for hot drinks, make sure to remove the inner straw insert so it isn’t damaged/makes for less cleaning. Second, remember when washing to put the base and lid the TOP rack of your dishwasher so the inner seals aren’t damaged/warped. Overall, I really like this but it’s better for cold liquids than hot, imo. I look forward to using this lots in the future. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

My new favorite, coffee cup!

This company always does a great job, but I love that this one has two options. I love that I can choose to have a straw, or I can be strictly sipping coffee mug. There is no leaking and it is amazing!

Love this!!!

I love this bottle! It’s well insulated so it keeps the temperature up for a long time. It’s not too huge and heavy which makes it easy to hold. My favorite part is the lid. It’s leak proof and you can sip directly or from the attached straw. It’s great to throw in a bag and not have to worry about it spilling when you don’t have that extra hand to hold your drink. It’s also very easy to clean. The lid comes apart and goes back together easy too.

This doesn't leak and it's super easy to clean. I love the versatility this cup offers for all my drinks!
