Economical pump up sprayer

These are great inexpensive sprayers. I have found the weak point to be the plastic clip that is pulled to turn it on and off. This at times breaks and there does not seem to be a replacement available. Once it breaks, you can no longer turn the sprayer on or off and end up throwing the whole thing away.

Perfect

I have tried many other sprayers available here on Amazon and all had problems or were just plain JUNK. This sprayer was PERFECT, right out of the package. It holds air, it doesn't leak and the nozzle works as a nozzle should. I will buy another if needed. States it's made in America, maybe that's why it works! Love it.

Great for Cleaning Solutions

The first one I ordered had a leak at the top seal. Supplier replace it right-away. The second one is great. I have arthritis in my hands and those squeeze pump handles that come with Scrub-Free are a real pain when I'm cleaning a tub-shower. I filled the Chapin about 2/3 full with Scrub-Free, a few pumps on the top and I was in business. NO PAIN!! in the hands. I'm going to order another one for 409. I highly recommend these for those with arthritis hands or are just plain tired of those hand squeezers.

Bought last year worked great - this year it won't hold pressure

Bought this one last year about this time from Amazon. Worked great all season long using Roundup. Went to use it again and will pump but when I went to spray, no pressure and chemical just dribbled out. I am 5 minutes from an Ace, Agway and Tractor Supply and they all sell the ones with the metal tip. Tried these last season as well and return each one to the respective stores because they had no spray control. Ordering this one again and hoe I just get the season our of it...

I bought this product to spray a herbicide on buckthorn. Works great. Just the right size when going through the brush, etc. Easy to pressurize.

Works well, but no pressure relief valve

Bought this sprayer to use for car detailing. Currently using with a non-acid wheel and tire cleaner. Works pretty well for this purpose, but do have a few issues with it. First, when it's full, the handle (which is all plastic) feels a bit flimsy. It hasn't broken yet, but twists under the weight of the tank until it's around 2/3-1/2 full. The second issue is it has no pressure relief valve. To release pressure you need to unscrew the lid, which can spray the contents of the tank all over. This really only happens if it's more than 2/3's full, but still an issue. Third is the nozzle. Those may only be an issue for me since I'm using it for wheel and tire cleaning, but I wish it would fan more. To get a wider pattern I tightened the nozzle, but this also limits the amount of product that it produces. Could probably find a different nozzle for it, but will probably end up buying a different brand of sprayer when this one wears out or breaks.
