Great support

Took a while to sort through all the off brand, cheap companies here on Amazon. Shipped exactly as pictured, don't need to worry about it being compressed like competitors only to fail to expand. Does not have any type of scent and doesn't have mold! A lot of other brands have ridiculously high amounts of reviews showing mold in the foam. This is true memory foam with a medium firmness. The cover has some texture but still soft, a little smooth and breathable. Perfect for your back, under knees or to prop your head up. 10/10 would recommend. Spend the extra dollar and get you a good brand like this, not some cheap brand that has random letters and words to make up their company name.

Worked great after breast reduction surgery!

Bought these so I could get out of the recliner in the living room and back into my own bed after breast reduction surgery. Used them as bumpers next to me on each side to keep me from rolling over. We have a queen size bed and my husband still had room to sleep in the bed when I used these (was trying to use regular bed pillows but they were so wide he had to sleep on his side because that was all the room left.) Thye don't slide around, are nice and firm but give when you apply pressure. I found that when I could start moving to a slight angle toward my side these worked as a support behind my back to brace me up and was very comfortable too. I could get a shoulder off the bed and lay up on my hip just a bit, and tuck this under my back on the side that my shoulder was off the bed and it worked like a little prop. This allowed me to be able get off laying flat on my back and get a little relief in a different position. Not flat on my back, but not fully on my side so as to not risk my incisions or injury while I was healing.. I am a side sleeper and it really helped. They were firm enough to provide that couple inches of support, but still really comfortable. I tried them under my legs to when sitting in bed watching TV and they worked good their too!

Really good little pillow

Good pillow. Great support. Is a little shorter than what I was expecting, but it doesn't affect its use. The cover comes off easily for washing, but it pills pretty easily too.

Nice, but not what I needed

Somehow I thought this was a different Carex pillow. I have a couple smaller foam lumbar supports and after several years use, I wanted to replace them. I thought this was the same pillow, size and all, just upgraded to a memory gel foam. I wanted this for my neck and lumbar. But this is a much larger pillow. The memory gel foam felt really comfortable. And the pillow cover is a rather thick, smooth decorative upholstery type. This pillow would be great if you want to sit up a bit, and also good under the knees. I would have kept them if I needed that. But it's much too big for my purposes, so I had to return them. One caveat: the zipper ends are sewn in without stops. Meaning they'll slide right off, the first time you open them. Although that happened on only one, I invisibly repaired both pillows' zippers (with color matched thread) before I returned them. Someone is going to get a bargain because they won't even know their pillow is now sturdier than usual. :-)

Works for what I need

I sleep with a CPAP on every night. I felt like using a regular pillow propped my head up more than I need causing my neck to be sore the next morning. Although, I could probably sleep on my side with the CPAP on, I don't. I sleep on my back every night. I was in the Pharmacy a few weeks back picking up a prescription and I saw these same pillows there. I was tempted to buy one then, but didn't. That night I decided that I really wanted to give it a try. I ordered it and a few days later I had it in my hands. I've used it for about 3 weeks now and so far, I really like it. My neck doesn't hurt when I wake up in the morning now, so that's a plus. I can't say that I won't ever go back to using a regular sized pillow, but I really like this pillow.

GIVE IT A CHANCE! From hate to love in 1 night!

Initial impression was horrible. I almost returned it without even trying it. Its too wide, too firm, no way is this going to work under my neck to help relieve my bone spur degenerative disc compressed spine pain, let alone my occipital neuralgia. No way. WRONG! The only thing that would make this better if it were in fact more narrow, maybe even 2inches. After the 3rd night i thought "hey this is pretty good i can iustify keeping this even if only for use 'as needed' " The 4th night i caught myself "ahhhhhhhh"ing outloud as i settled onto it for the night. Its been a week. I plan to use it every night until/unless/u know how neck things change. Its even comfy for sidesleeping. It softens up with ur body temp, but doesnt get warm/sweaty. Give it a shot. I have been proven wrong. For comparison: im 5'8" and have an average to long neck. This is probably perfect size for anyone taller. Otherwise its probably too big for someone shorter to get the benefit of ur chin facing the ceiling

Worth the money

I have a very long neck and worked various jobs that involved sitting by a desk reading or writing for the past decade. My neck is constantly sore and requests massages regularly. Sometimes it causes so much pain that I have difficulty sleeping. The only thing that worked was to sleep with a rolling pin wrapped in a towel under my neck. That’s why I bought this semi pillow hoping it would work in a similar way. It is obviously not as firm as a rolling pin in a towel but firmer than just a towel. Might be too big for under my neck but I understand it is designed for various purposes. The cover can be taken off, which I did immediately after receiving it, because it was filthy. Clearly it was a returned item. I have absolutely no problem with people testing things out first and then decide if they want to keep or return their purchase. However, I would put a pillow case on it if I’m not sure I will keep it. The pillow I received was so heavily used that some areas looked darker; it was also covered in all kinds of shapes/lengths of human hair and light blond pet fur. I think I will get rid of the cover and just use a pillow case. It’s a pity.

acheté parce que j'ai des problèmes de dos et je croyais que le produit serait confortable lorsque assis ou lorsque couché pour mettre sous les jambes. Cependant, il est beaucoup trop dur. pas satisfait.
