It works, very worth the money.
This part must be factory Briggs as it came in a Briggs box. It fit my flat head 5hp Briggs like it should. It works great. Do not buy the $20 POS, buy this one.

craftsman rear tine tiller
Only had to drill out the existing rivets. Easy to install. Pulls like a new tiller. The tiller was a 1996 model. Runs like new now. Great value!

Perfect fit on my old Craftsman Front Tine Tiller
Product arrived very quickly and was exactly what I needed. I have an old Craftsman Front Tine Tiller Model 917.292.390. The original starter was riveted on, so those 4 rivets had to be drilled out, but this one came with screws, so it was no big deal to install this new one once the old one was off. Super quick and easy install and it is now back up and running in time for growing season in my garden. This was so much faster and easier than trying to take apart the old starter to just fix the spring mechanism that was broke inside it.

Fit and work perfectly
I didn't have a problem with the installation of the replacement part. The process was easy and simple for me because I am a craftsman. I installed the replacement part and started the unit with it. The shipping was as expected, however; I did have to go to the distribution center to pick up because after all the deliveries by UPS in the past leaving my package on the porch with this one I had to sign and the delivery was on a Friday so by me not being home I had to go pick it up or wait till Monday for a second delivery attempt. That is the only down side of the experience other than that it's been all positive dealing with Amazon.com
