Fits the Boppy Nursing pillow perfect!

This fits the Boppy Nursing pillow, perfect. I even have a cute GRSSDER pillow cover on-top. It’s easy to clean (machine washable), and of good quality. I would highly recommend.

Not water resistant

Found out really quick when my little one arrived that these covers are not water resistant (or poop, or stain resistant). Had a blowout and it went through clothes, leaked onto to boppy cover, went through the pillow protector cover, and stained the boppy pillow itself. It also does this when breastfeeding and when baby spits up. What a bummer ????

A must if you have a boppy and a spitty baby

It's nice to just switch out the top cover and not have to wash pillow. A little pricey but totally worth it! Don't know how it well it soaks up big spills but it works for spit up breast milk and drips.

Works as advertised

It won't completely block water (or spit-up) from getting to the inner pillow, but it blocks enough that my Boppy is still pristine! Using it with the Boppy brand pillow makes it a perfect fit, and you can still add a softer pillow case over this one for comfort and/aesthetics I recommend having 2 of these on hand so when you need to wash one you can use the other and not lose our on the protection in the meantime

An unnecessary purchase

I got this for my Boppy hoping it would help not get the actual pillow wet from spit up or diaper blowouts while nursing, but it is not water proof at all. Everything soaks right through it just like a cotton Boppy cover and you have to wash the whole pillow anyway. I do not recommend spending the extra $13 on this because it has the same protection as a normal pillow covering.

Crucial Boppy Accessory

I received one protective cover from my Amazon baby registry upon my daughter's birth in August 2010 and bought another in December 2010. I'm still using both of them as of November 2011. Both covers have been extremely durable despite constant weekly to bi-weekly alternating use under another Boppy cover, occasional use as the sole cover, and me shoving a Boppy pillow into them with force while I'm trying to finish the laundry and my daughter is screaming for neh. Zippers of lesser items costing much more have self-destructed under far less stress. It even stays white and the fabric stays fresh in all those regular washes. Sometimes this cover can even be wipe-clean. Inevitably in the last fourteen months I've had ample opportunity to test out its water resistance. There has been urine, some poop leakage, spit-up, bottles of water (oops), ice cream (oops again), snot (that one's not me), neh, and all manner of other liquids. While many have penetrated the top "decorative" Boppy cover and ended up on the protective cover, none have appeared on my Boppy pillow. Please note that this product is not water *proof*, it is water *resistant*. It will prevent minor spillages from getting through completely (eg the previously mentioned ice cream or small amounts of the rest). But for major spillages (eg diaper blowouts, vomit,) you get at least a few to about fifteen minutes to dab with a paper towel and/or remove the Boppy cover prior to the liquid working its way down to the pillow. Plus who doesn't want (or need) to change the covers quickly after a major liquid incident? Dirtying of the pillow would be almost instant with even a minor accident of mother or baby sans this protective cover. 5 stars is not enough.

NOT water resistant

This cover is not water resistant at all. I put this over my Boppy and then have another case over that and every drop of liquid big or small soaks through both layers immediately. In my photo, you can see the small stain visible on the outer cover, the supposedly water resistant cover AND the nursing pillow. Not useful at all. Very disappointed.

Not waterproof!

Absolutely not waterproof. We had this on our Boppy under a Boppy brand cover and baby’s leaking diaper wet right through to the pillow. The “waterproof” cover did nothing to prevent the pillow from getting wet. Such a waste of money.

It’s fine

Basic white cover, nothing wrong with it but rated lower because I think it’s stupid you have to get the pillow, then a water resistant cover and then a patterned cover. Seems like a money grab, they could have combined it into 2 products (either pillow with water resistant cover on it or a patterned cover with the water resistant cover in one)

Keep your money

This product is labelled as “water resistant” which is false. I bought this cover for my breast feeding pillow to ensure my pillow does not get stained if something is spilled on it. My son vomited while eating which ended up going on the cover and went right through to the pillow. I would not buy this again!

N’est pas waterproof

C’est une housse comme les autres. Elle est un peu plus épaisse, mais les dégâts/taches passent au travers et tache malheureusement le coussin. J’ai mis cette housse + une autre par dessus et mon coussin a été tachée donc pas imperméable. Dommage car c’est important avec un bébé! Les autres housses et le coussin sont superbes par contre
