Just what I needed for piece of mind

Locks on to keep my newport vessels trolling motor from being swiped. I was hoping this could be kept on but it would clank a lot and probably not going to last too long with saltwater. Still like other locks it's purpose is met so Still 5 stars.

Not very weatherproof for something that "lives" outdoors

The concept is great, it's easy to install, but it turns to rust after one season. I did buy another one, but will spray paint it with a better coating before use.

Did not fit a Mercury 9.9 HP Mariner

Too small. Seemingly well made and a good design though. Key was a little sticky and as someone else said, hard/impossible to copy.

Doesn't support Minn Kota Traxxis

Product does not fit Minn Kota Traxxis 55lbs trolling motor. If only it was another 1/4 inch longer then we'd be in business. Product came with 2 keys. Had weight and seemed solid but didn't fit hence the 3 stars.
