Nice block but 8” chefs knofe is too fat

This looks like a well made block. Unfortunately I’ll be returning it as both my 8” chefs knife and honing rod are too fat to fit. Had they listed the sizes of slots in the ad I would’ve known this prior to purchase, for this reason I’m giving 4 stars. Would love to keep it otherwise.

Nice Quality Knife Block

The quality and finish are good. Looks good on the counter. I would have given this five stars if it could hold two chefs knives, but the slots are not big enough. Sad considering it would not have cost them any more to produce. I am using the cleaver slot for my second chefs knife. There were a number of complaints about not being able to remove the sticker glue. WD40 works great.

Nice block but would be perfect with a 2nd Chef's knife space.

Even though the knife block is sturdy and the craftmanship is above average, it only has a space for one chef's knife. I had to leave my cleaver in the drawer and am using its space for my other chef's knife.

Perfect size and openings for my purpose.

It has a verity of size openings to accommodate many size knives and accessories. It is very sturdy, has some weight to it, thus it is not easily tipped over putting utensils in or taking out. Has deep enough openings frol longer slicing knives. Would recommend for anyone having a goodly size collection of cutting utensils.
