Product is as described and so far as stopped anything from penetrating the stream I have mainly roots and sand as the soil So it is the roots I am more concerned with.

Good quality used this for my small pond. I placed sand then this underlayment then a preformed pond liner. Worked well. So far holding up well. Good quality material. Durable soft easy to cut. Large size.

If you are building a pond or stream, buy this! It works great!

We used this to line a 55 foot pond. We placed it on the ground below our liner, and it is working great. It's been three months and no rocks have been able to penetrate it. I was told to buy sand (instead of this underlayment cloth) and I am so glad I got the cloth instead. It is very thick and will protect my liner for years. Worth every penny. Save yourself from having to repair your liner from rocks that make their way to the surface over time.

easy to work with. very flexible

I bought this underlayment got for a back yard pond my son and I made. It is made of what feels like a felt type material. It was easy to use and conformed to the ocular shape of the pond we designed. I did cut it in one area to allow for full coverage. It was very easy to work with and gives you an added piece if mind knowing that it can help pelrevwnt roots from growing thru your pond. I would reccomend

Grrrreat! I ordered the pond underlayment for a 6x12 pond and when the box came in, i guess they upgraded me to an underlayment for a 10x15 foot pond!!!This is great for exxtra thick layers of protection. This and sand i think will be enough. Thank you for a prompt delivery as well. Took 7 days. Eric 4 stars because it isnt super thick but with extra in the order, it super made up for it.
