Fits well behind furniture

These are great for allowing furniture a tight fit on the walls. They can become a little loose in the outlet. A better product would have a screw in the middle to tighten up in the outlet. Otherwise, this is a good product.

Won’t fit outlets with safety receptacle

This is a well made product that looks good and works well, EXCEPT that it doesn’t fit the kitchen outlets I wanted it for located above my kitchen counter, which have safety receptacles that automatically trip if water gets splashed on them. This type of wall outlet has the extra rectangular buttons between the upper and lower outlet prong slots, and therefore, this multi-plug power outlet doesn’t fit - the prongs are too close together. Really disappointed by that, since the advertised photos show it being used for the above mentioned purpose, above kitchen counters. But if you want to use these for regular outlets near the floor in dry location , you’ll like them. Wish I could find one that fits my needed purpose!

USB outlets make a buzzing noise

Was exactly what I was looking for… an outlet extender with a flat front face and all the outlets on the side. Plan was to put it behind a nightstand next to the bed so the furniture could be pushed right up against it. When I plugged my phone or other usb devices in to charge, it makes a faint buzzing sounds. Not an issue if I was using in my home office, but slightly annoying next to my pillow. Ended up relocating it and ended up in a place where the clean front face did not provide a benefit as intended.

Does what it should, but form factor is too large

If you plan on using this in a cabinet with your AV equipment, you may need to think again. The size of the wall tap is quite large and deep. In my case, it was so deep that I could not properly sit my equipment while plugging into this adapter. If this is the case, get a surge protector on a cord so you can have more flexibility in where you place it.

Exactly what I needed

This perfect for my needs and meets my expectations of GE products. I use it for my cat's water fountain that requires a USB to plug it in. I like the USB on the side because as then it doesn't stick out so far and makes the cord side flush with the wall. I'll definitely be purchasing another one of these for other areas and uses in my home.

Updated review: Although it seemed like a good product that serves its purpose (does get hot when charging a device), one of the 2 USB ports stopped working within the first month of use. I can no longer return it… I do not recommend this product.
