Nice, good value, air tight,
This is the perfect present for new parents. The lavender gel smells great and the lavender colored bags etc make the inside of the pail look pretty. Very sturdy, built to last!! I used bathroom silicone to seal the bottom inside edges to keep all odors inside the pail.

I like it does it’s job great value.
Soo even with the scent bad the Oder scent insert it’s still smelly if you open baby Pooh stinks mentioning Because previous reviews stated that the scent is bad when you open it I think that is common because you must take out trash yet it does a great job of keeping the funky scent inside so since this is my first time buying this item I guess it’s worth it. If you don’t want to smell Pooh it locks that baby wonder in but when must empty I empty frequently maybe 1/2 a week that’s just me. Breastfeeding babies pooh collection is not a great scent . Ok moving a long I haven’t used the changing mat and FYI it comes with two types of bags I use the big ones only my baby is 17 days old Just had csection in horrible pain so I’m not about to get up small wrap in tiny baggy and then in big baggy maybe when I feel a1 that diff will help with karate kick of scent to your nose lol. The zip bag haven’t used yet all in all great gift idea great lil trash can it is stylish and fits in any lil space. The garage bag holder don’t have space to set up. I would buy again.

There's got to be something better than this.
We've used this diaper pail for 8 months now and it wasn't bad in the beginning but I can't stand it now! I bought this after reading the reviews and buying into, "metal is better for odor control." Well, maybe if the whole thing was metal but it's not it's literally just the side walls, everything else on it is plastic. Besides that, the metal started to rust a couple months in which adds a whole other element to the stench. Nearly from day one, we tried to not put poopy diapers in this thing just to keep from having to change out the bag as often. Changing bags on this thing sucks! You get it about half to 3/4 full of wet diapers and the bag vapor locks against the canister when you try to pull it out. Ok, that testifies that it's pretty air tight around the base but who wants to get their face close to the opening to break the seal? I've had to more times than I'd like to admit! It's always a game of how long I can hold my breath while changing a bag. Speaking of their bags, I really like them, both the canister refills and their single use bags that came with it, I've reordered both but I guess that's for another review. When the metal started to rust, I tried to inspect things a little more to see what was going on and found that it had been collecting condensation not only in the rounded rim at the bottom of the metal side wall but also in the lid that slides back and forth. And if you get this liquid on you, it doesn't come off with simple soap and water! Getting the condensation cleaned out from the lid is near impossible with the design of it, there always seemed to be some that seeped into a crevice of the lid mechanism. The lid design has never been my favorite anyway. You have to push it back to open and pull it forward to shut. We'll that's not convenient to fight one handed when you're trying to hold a wiggly baby and it decides it's not going to slide for you. Plus, if it's empty it will just slide across a bare floor on you. The lid doesn't slide open and shut very well until there's some weight inside it. Our 9 month old has also figured out the lid and the lock, I really thought the lock would be a little harder for him to figure out. So overall, here are my main points for criticism: - It rusts, even if you don't ever use cleaners on it - It creates and collects condensation - The lid is hard to operate and clean - Changing bags isn't as simple of a task as it could be Even after trying to sanitize it, this thing is causing my son's room to stink even when it's empty and the lid hasn't been opened for several hours. The stench of it is starting to linger into the rest of our house as well. Not sure what I'm going to replace it with but it's got to go!

Best diaper pale on the market!
This was a great purchase for our family. I was hesitant to buy a diaper pale because I felt like it was an overpriced, glorified trash can based on other diaper pales I had used in a childcare setting. This pale, however, has been fantastic! No smell leaks through and the scent inserts it comes with really helps the smell for when we air it out after bag changes. Love the changing pad it came with! It's very much like a yoga mat, cute travel bag as well! Overall, the set was such a great value and I'm so glad we got it!

Best diaper pail!
Used this for my son during his first year and threw it out once he hit 12 months! A MUST for any new parents. The lock feature locks in the smell and the air freshener support is nice as well. I love the bags!

Not worth it
Diaper pale arrived with a huge dent in the side. Does steel dent like that? This was for our first baby so we didn’t know what was best. We are buying a diaper genie and will be trashing this one. Opening and closing the top is not smooth, so it’s a pain to utilize. In the middle of the night, I can’t open and close it with one hand. So inconvenient! Smell escapes every time you open and close it.
