Quality of craftsmanship.

I’m a big fan of Craftsman tools. As a car mechanic and motorcycle enthusiast, I recommend these pliers. There are other pliers on the market that are of higher quality but cost too much. THESE GET THE JOB DONE and are durable.

Good Tools

Worked perfectly. Needed it to remove and install c-rings on Mini Cooper A/C compressor clutch assembly.

Would not hold snap ring securely

Repeatedly tried to remove snap rings without luck. Pliers would squeeze the rings in, but would not hold them to pull the ring out. Very disappointing. Purchased a different brand which work great.

Decent pliers, but came rusted.

The pliers are of decent quality, and work as intended. They came on a flat piece of plastic, each one zip tied to it and soaked in oil. But the back of each set of pliers was dark with rust and the joints are full of dark, rust filled oil. I had to take a scratch pad and scrub each one down in order to clean the exterior. Even after that, I can still see dark, rust filled oil seeping out when I open and close the pliers from the joint. It's irritating that a set of brand new pliers are already on their way to being rusted and worthless.

Good item but...

The tips tend to bend. They haven't broken. You do have to straighten them from time to time

BLOWS AWAY WALMART

Had a job to do on a harley wasted the money on the interchangeable hyper Tough ones from Walmart what a waste they were too weak to squeeze the snap ring, and almost lost a eye several times trying.These were well wourth the money, very nice quality I can't say enough about them, more enough power to get the job done. Don't hesitate if your looking for a good budget set

Only complaint is the size of the tips of the tools, smaller c clips are too small for the larger tip that comes on these. So you’ll need to add another smaller one for your set

For me, a weekend mechanic, these work great. Snap rings are incredibly frustrating without the right tools and these make it easy. Craftsmen brand has always been pretty good to me.

I will have to modify them in the future

I think they are of good quality, I purchased these specifically to do a 4l60e transmission overhaul and I couldn't get them to work on some parts because the ends were to far apart causing them not to be able to work. I will modify them for the future and shave some metal off. They did not work for the transmission pump c clips. Too small. Some tweaking and it'll work. ????

Poor Packaging, Sturdy Tools So Far.

The packaging is in poor shape. It's clearly missing some zip ties, and there also appears to be some grey residue on the handles that comes off by scratching it with a finger nail. There is also grease from the joints that has leaked onto the plastic packaging. Overall a decent tool, the price isn't bad either for the amount of tools and the quality. The packaging is a bit of a red flag however. I'm a little surprised this product would be shipped in such condition. Would recommend to others, hopefully they get a product that was handled better than mine.

Other reviews might say otherwise but this gets the job done.

I had to file down the tips a little bit so they line up. But zero complains since it got the job done at a very very good price. First job I did was rocker bearings on my LS7, the pliers handled the job with ease.

Lifetime warranty

Works good lifetime warranty like almost any craftsman product for average backyard workers it will do the job but sometime it slip off the clip.. for daily use you better pay more for Mac tool or Snap On

Absolutely garbage. Tip are misaligned, joints are sloppy and the coating was marked up . Craftsman has gone downhill according to these, don’t buy these their not worth the cardboard there attached to .
