Perfect for fussy repairs

I swapped turbos on an Audi, but the waste gate came adjusted wrong. Supposedly the only way to reach it is to remove the entire turbo. Well I wasn’t about to break through the threadlocker I just used and order new gaskets while leaking oil and coolant onto my garage floor again, so I let my stubbornness determine that turbo wasn’t coming back off. I tried every tool I could think of to reach up into the tiny belly of the beast, but nothing could grip and have room to turn. I ordered this set along with some other models as a last effort to save my car. Not only was I able to reach and move the adjustment screw, but I had about 3 degrees of rotation room. Sure it was tedious, but I didn’t have to remove a turbo on an Audi, which I assure you is more complex than it should be. The car is a tuned B7 A4 2.0t, and the 45 degree pliers worked best for the job. I’m sure these have gotten people out of worse pickles, but I’m thrilled with this one. Not an every day tool, but when you need them, you absolutely NEED them.

Great set for the money

I am not sure how something as a bit specialized as long reach needle nose pliers is "basic" but whatever. These are very well made, strong, and do what long reach needle nose pliers are supposed to do. Great add to my toolbox and, given the price, everyone should add them as there are so often those times where nothing else will work.

Not as thin as I hoped

The quality is good. I was just surprised how thick the needle nose pliers were. I needed to get into an area that was really tight and these pliers were too big.

Large Jaws Skinny Handle

I had a pair of similar pliers from a major manufacturer and within half a dozen times of using them, the jaw snapped. This manufacturer solved that problem by making the jaws really big and the handles really thin so the handle will bend before you can snap the jaw. They were pretty inexpensive, so I'm hanging on to them, but I'll only be using them when I need the long reach.

Open and close is very stiff

Not the easiest for when you’re trying to maneuver them with one hand in a tight space. I might try some WD-40 to see if that helps them open more smoothly. It’d be helpful if they opened just a bit wider also. The max open was just barely big enough to fit over a vacuum hose connection in my engine (maybe about ~1 gripped an inch from the top)

Solid set of pliers

Long reach pliers are always a good thing to keep around the house. These are higher quality than harbor freight ones, but still lack QC. Tips don’t touch, so you’ll have to put whatever your grabbing a little farther down in the jaws but it hasn’t been an issue yet.

Did the job

Bought these because my fuse box in Enclave is in a weird spot with a difficult angle to pull out & more importantly put fuses back in. The different angled pliers were perfect for my needs. Good quality.

Seem well made. Price is good for these specially made items. Got them for 660 rupees.

I post more review after use. I bought them to reach the fuel outlet pipe from fuel tank of my 2002 Mercedes Benz car.

Best deal in town!

Let's face it these aren't Knipex pliers, but for the for average user and price they work fine. I have lots and lots and lots of tools of all quality and these do the trick. Impressed with the packaging. If your career depends on these pliers on a daily basis, I'd probably look elsewhere.
