UPDATE - Smells Like Burning Plastic and Now My House Does Too

This OXO toilet brush and plunger set smells very strongly of burnt plastic and campfire smoke. The smell is just as strong after I washed it with soap and let it air out for a week. My whole bathroom smells terrible now. My family can’t stand the smell so I have to throw it away. This is pretty bad for the most expensive plunger I’ve ever purchased. I hope that everyone at OXO and their suppliers that had anything to do with this product is OK if the working conditions smell anything like the end product. In short: Makes my whole house smell bad, one of the worst things I’ve ever purchased. 0 stars and may God have mercy on their souls. UPDATE: I contacted Amazon and they replaced the product with one that doesn’t stink. Good product, I like how compact it is and modern/utilitarian it looks. It does grow some green gunk in the case if you don’t clean it, but it’s a plunger holder, it’s gonna get dirty, what do you expect.

Nice combo for bathroom hardware

Both the plunger and scrub brush are hidden nicely in the base. My only concern is that one day the brush may fall off when cleaning the toilet drain hole, as it has a tendency to come loose on the pole when spinning counter clockwise. I have tightened it down pretty good, yet it still happens occasionally on both the ones we have purchased. Other than that, it's pretty sleek and does the job. The plunger rubber is very good quality

Pricey, but it hides both items!

I never thought I would spend so much on something used in a toilet... but it makes the bathroom look so much nicer with the plunger & toilet brush hidden from plain sight. I'd recommend the company to include Velcro, since this product easily slides around with it being plastic. My only complaint is that the plastic seems a bit cheap for the price.

I really wanted to like this product, but it has flaws

I bought two. On both, there are issues cropping up that make this a failed purchase. Mainly, the doors don’t reliably closer or open. Meaning that sometimes the doors stay open until you bend down to close them. Not a great look for such an expensive product.

I've now ordered 3!

We bought one of these a year ago and waited for it to come back in stock and ordered 2 more! Sturdy and easy to clean! the plunger works well and you're able to get replacement brush heads for the toilet scrubber. The doors open easily and close when you put the brush or plunger back in and never have to touch the base! Honestly I know its a bit on the more expensive side but totally worth it!

The cadillac of all brushes / plungers

I have tried a few brushes/plungers. This is perfect because it's "self opening and self closing". I used to just have the brushes but upgraded to the combo for all 4 or my bathrooms.

Keeps the plunger and brush near the toilet and clean looking. Love it!!

A bit pricey but well worth it. We have a low flush toilet and it often gets clogged with toilet paper (rhe kids just ream off the tp like there’s no tomorrow). I love having the plunger right next to the toilet but is clean and sanitary. Even the handle of the plunger doesn’t look like a typical gross plunger handle. Wasy to wipe down, hard white plastic. Toilet brush is the same. So neat looking and the holder even has a drainage in the bottom so it isn’t sitting in it’s own dirty water. Very nice, great design. Very happy with this purchase!!
