So happy with this purchase. Great quality and the Company has an excellent costumer service. I had a minor issue and they send me the replacement parts. It works perfect now and look nice on my front door.

So happy with the color!

We purchased the house 8 y. ago with the newly replaced front door. The lock and the handle were the silver color and it was super ugly on the black door. To my taste. When the push mechanism on the handle became a problem, I found this similar set in a dark color. First of all it is $30 cheaper than Lowe's, secondly, it looks black on the black door that you can't see it at all from the far. I am super happy!

Nice, but a bit frustrating to install

I bought one of these for the front door and six knob type ones for the other exterior doors. The knob type ones were a breeze to install and I left glowing review for them on here. This handle set is all the same great quality as the knob sets, but more difficult to install. The screws and bolts all came in number coded packages, but oddly enough, the instructions did not properly refer to which package which screws/bolts are in. Fortunately, I've installed lots of door hardware, so was able to figure it out. My challenge came with the handle bottom installation. I used the template carefully - measure twice or thrice and drill once! I'm confident I got the hole drilled true to the template, but it didn't line up with the bolt hole in the handle. I was able to enlarge the drill hole and get the bolt lined up and the cap will still cover the bigger hole. But then the bolt stripped when I screwed it into the handle bottom. Maybe I over-torqued it, but I didn't go after it all that hard. I went to the hardware store to get a replacement bolt and they couldn't find (out of massive selection of bolts) a bolt that was the same as the one that came with this one. I was able to rig it up for now, but may end up having to use a larger machine screw to get it tightened up. Anyway, I would still recommend this set, just be super careful installing the lower handle bolt!

Buyer be ware

I'll be to the point, I was trying to match Baldwin locks that are though out my house with smart lock system. They discontinued the brass in Baldwin so I went this way, Kwikset is all right BUT you can tell the finish and quality is not there. Its hard to find quality Brass now, And now that's installed, it will do but... Now I find out its a lot cheaper at Builders.com . Baldwin and Kwikset are the same company to my understanding. Just be careful or buyer beware.

Big improvement for our front door.

Replaced the clunky old skeleton key and upper latch that uses a finger pull to close the door. Nice improvement.

Damaged

I ordered this item and it stated that the box was damaged but the item inside was fine. Well when I had a new door put in just this past week and the man went to install this handle and lock guess what a part was missing. So now I had to order another set because the part that was missing was an add on and would of cost me the same as a complete set. Very disappointed.
