Some good, some bad

I had purchased a Kraus faucet for our bathroom that we updated about 10 years ago. The design was beautiful and after all the years it still works perfectly and looks brand new. That was the expectation I had of this sink combination package. The faucet has completely lived up to expectations, nice design and has worked flawlessly now that we have had it in use for nearly a year. The sink is good in that we were able to add far more depth compared to our old one and a lot of total volume in a small footprint. Now we can easily wash large pots and pans which was a real challenge with our old sink. The stainless steel scratches very easily. In fact it was scratched before we used it the first time. Our contractor rinsed some grout from tiling the backsplash into it. I gently sprayed it with the faucet while using just my fingers to wipe it away. This left thousands of small surface scratches all over the base of the sink. Obviously, grout shouldn't have been put into a brand new sink, but it also shouldn’t have scratched when I was removing it so carefully. The other consideration to keep in mind, like all square flat bottom sinks I have used, this one drains rather poorly and slowly. Lastly, the soap dispenser is terrible. The dispenser head is nice quality and made out of a heavy duty metal. However, Kraus used a very cheap pump mechanism with too much friction and not a strong enough spring. We got about 2 weeks out of it before the pump just started sticking down. We’d have to pull it up for each pump of soap. We tried watering the soap down, different brands of soap and it didn’t make a difference. I reached out to Kraus about he problem and asked them to just send a replacement pump that was all I needed. They were responsive, and sent me a whole new unit. However, this was just as bad and stopped working properly after a couple weeks. I recently bought a much cheaper model from another brand and it has been working flawlessly for over a month. This would be a simple fix, I don’t know why Kraus wouldn’t but a better quality pump which would probably cost a few cents per unit...

Excellent!

We bought this for our light kitchen remodel. We got new counter tops and backsplash. This sink system is great. It's 10" deep and comes with a nice grate at the bottom to keep from scratching it with pots and pans. Love the faucet. It's exactly what I was wanting and works just as I imagined. The added bonus is the soap dispenser which is super easy to reload. Price was right and product is excellent!

Beautiful sink

Great sink. I bought it despite reading some negative reviews. Sink works well and looks amazing. The faucet looks great and works well too. I read reviews about scratching, well after all it is a kitchen sink and not an art piece so I expect to get scratches. If you feel like wiping it dry after every use you can do so to prevent hard water stains, however there are products out there that will shine your sink with ease . There was a mention in a review of rust forming in the corners, not an issue with mine. They must've used an abrasive which clearly is not to be used for this sink.

I LOVE THIS SINK AND FAUCET

I am in love with this sink and faucet. It is seriously, my favorite part of our remodel. I love the wire grate at the bottom. It prevents scratches to the bottom of the sink, and doubles as a drying rack. I use the microfiber towel to dry the walls of the sink after every use (not sure if that will continue after the "new" wears off). The faucet is awesome also. I like that that the lever pulls forward only - straight up and down for cool water, towards you for hot. We bought the same sink, but smaller for the utility room!

Beautiful but ....

The sink is large, deep, and beautiful. The faucet is like a work of art. But... I wish the bottom sloped a little more toward the drain. Food scraps just sit there and it takes a lot of water to push it to the drain.

Amazing!

Easy to install, love the extra sound proofing, and the look is amazing. We are still remodeling so we have not used the sink daily but so far no scratches. We were able to fit the garbage disposal but it did cause some issues with pipe placement due to how low the garbage disposal sits. Not a problem just be aware to plan accordingly.

Beautiful and love it

We built a new house and had this sink installed. We moved in 8 months ago. We love this sink! It’s wide and deep, and looks Fantastic! The faucet works and functions very well. Contrary to a few other reviews, we have no issues with scratches. We do use the protective grate on the bottom and find it works well and is useful. We would buy this sink again.

Where you touch the most black colour gets off
