Great lock for almost any purpose!

I was very surprised at first when I got the lock, opened the package and saw all the pieces in my hand. Now that I have used it at the gym, in the garage, even on a lock box, I get it, I really like it! Please don't get discouraged, if you've not had this type of lock before! It works, the most important thing I can say is just that, it is a heavy-duty, well made padlock, that has your combination! The only reasen that you might not be able to use it would be the size of the shackle. You do need to note the diameter of the place that you want to use it most often! If you want something lightweight, and easy, this may be overkill. But if you want to secure your belongings, and feel certain they will be waiting for you when you return, the Master Lock Word Combination Lock is a fantastic choice! - Strong - Private - Accessible - Easy - Long lasting Definite ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not all letters

I was going to use this lock for an Escape Room game for a school activity, and half of the rings only have numbers and symbols. You can spell out an entire word. The photo on the description is misleading because a ZERO is used as an O, so it looks like you can spell out 5 letter words.

Easy to use and change

This was bought to use for a 3rd grade escape room, and works pretty well. Only bad issue was that there are only so many letter combinations possible with the included rings. In order to make the word we wanted work, we had to scrape off one of the preprinted letters and draw our own. Other that that it works great.

Alphabet only can use 4 letter ,number is 4 bit .

It is no good enough ,if your name is 5 bit such as CATHY you cannot use it ,The number also has 4 bit cannot use 5 number,spare parts not enough.

Dials need aligning carefully - no indexing

Dials need aligning carefully - no indexing. Bought as a replacement for the same padlock which has been on an outside shed for over 5 years. Operation need to wiggle the dials slightly to get the lock to unlock new or 5+ years old. The rings can be changed to make any alpha numeric 5x combo which is great. The last dials show no sign of fade despite years of being in sunlight rain snow etc.

Awkward and flimsy

Excellent Lock. Can't go wrong here...

I love this lock for 2 reasons: 1. Easy to set up for personal customized 5 letter word or number combo 2. You'll be only person in locker room with it as it's different looking and you won't forget which locker you are in ( we all know this has happened ) Fits all standard locks just like a normal spin dial combo lock. Random colour given

Just a heads up that they seem to choose the colour for you. I wanted green (as shown on 1st/main listing photo) and ended up with blue. This wasn't necessarily clear.

5 dial combination padlock

Excellent combination lock if not the best of them. Not easy to lock it by mistake yet easy to use I recommend it.

Crappy lock

It's poorly made, doesn't accurately line up and easily falls apart. The wide shackle is a boon but not worth the poor assembly
