18g 5wire does exactly what I needed it to
Took advantage of a program my gas and electric company offer and picked up 4 new smart thermostats for our home. Installed wiring was 2-wire on a heat only system, so I needed to run all new wire. First floor runs were pretty easy. Second floor I used the conduit we put in for the data cabling to run the new thermostat wire as well. Got 5-wire for a bit of future proofing in case we want to incorporate the attic fan, de/humidifier, or install AC at some point. It's a quality product. Just make sure you're getting the right price when comparing with the B&M stores near you.

5 seperate leads for advanced thermostats needing the C wire
Although I purchased this spool of wire damaged, there was very little of the actual that received any damage at all. So for me with most of the damage on the spool itself this was a great value. Plenty of wire to allow me to replace the old existing 4 lead that was installed in the 70's and run it through the attic to the outside where my all-in-one unit is located. I can now install my new Honeywell Smart Thermostat and take advantage of new features that my new Heat/Air unit will support and forget about keeping extra batteries on hand for when my old thermostats display would go out. Appears to good quality wire and the external sheathing is supposed to handle extremes in hot or cold temperatures. I have enough wire left over that I could replace the entire length again if needed.

I upgraded my thermostat wire myself while the walls were opened for repairs.
It was perfect, the number of conductors was exactly what was ordered, and it installed easily. About 2 hours work to pull wire for 4 thermostats, and now we are ready for "smart" thermostats!

Needed to add a common wire for Nest
Purchased this specifically to add a common wire to my Nest 3rd generation thermostat. My AC was cycling on/off prior to adding the common wire. The sheathing is a little delicate and I had to be careful pulling it. Other than that it was the perfect product for my needs.
