Great price for 100% copper 14 guage wire

I verified that this is an all copper (not copper clad aluminum) stranded wire. This wire is stranded, not a solid single wire. It's priced well currently $16.85 for a 14 guage for 100 feet. It's also made in the US. 4 months ago I purchased the same wire but at 16 guage. With the two different guages side by side you can definitely see the big difference. I took a close-up of a single strand and verified it's all 100% copper. I'm real satisfied with my purchase.

Works well for my needs.

???? % copper. Very heavy feel. Not a copper coated wire. Used to feed 10 trail cams. It's wire so it should have a long service life unless a tree limb falls on it or something.

Check your gauge

Be sure to check that you received the correct gauge. I bought three spools of 14-guage and didn't think anything of it until I went to use the black spool and realized it felt light. Upon inspecting I noticed there were two labels on it, one stated 16 gauge and the other 14 gauge. I measured with calipers and it is indeed 16 gauge. Pics show the black spool and the red, which was correctly labeled as 14 gauge. Other than that the wire is top notch. Strands are solid copper, high quality, and the jackets crimp really well. Aside from the hassle of returning the wrong gauge I have zero complaints. It's great to see high quality USA-made wire on Amazon.

Good Deal for the Price

Nice braided wire. Used to put together a Carolina Windom antenna for my ham radio setup. Beats the more expensive braided wire you can get at the home improvement box store.

It’s primary wire not THHN don’t be confused

Pure copper 14AWG cable made by Southwire yes they make others types of wire not just THHN. This is not THHN.

Awesome price for copper

Great price for copper wire. I won’t buy copper clad. Why buy wire with built in resistance that increases over time? Buy copper or aluminum but not copper clad.
