Great replacement for stinky insoles.
OK, I bought these because of the stank. My wife bought me a very expensive pair of slippers last year, and although I don't have stinky feet, these slippers absorbed a foul funk that relegated those perfectly-good shoes to the next room. She could actually smell me coming up the stairs... Yecch. Nothing worked: machine washing; whole bottles of Febreze; charcoal pellets; baking soda sachets; you name it. Finally a light dawned: I pulled out the insoles and voila, stink gone! Enter these sheepskin insoles. Sheepskin has natural antimicrobial properties that (I hope) will be long lasting. Not sure what died in the old slippers, but these new soles have turned the trick. Gave four stars only because they were a bit thinner than I'd hoped--but they're plenty comfy.

Flimsy, but you may like it that way.
These are NOT sheep skin. They are wool, yes, but a loose fuzzy fleece that is secured onto a woven fabric. Probably a synthetic. and then is bonded somehow to a thin foam slab. The fuzziness compresses immediately. So what you get is a thin woolen insole that may be perfect for shoes or boots that are too snug to fit in real shearling insoles. Also, the cut is VERY narrow. I had to purchase a men's size 12 in order to get an adequate width for a ladies 8. You can trim to fit. I shall report back on durability.

Order Early
I like that it fits well and is very cozy. I dislike that it took 11 days longer than the "latest expected day" to arrive. It arrived today and the birthday party was a week ago. Glad we weren't heading overseas.

Warm and comfy
I bought these for my husband. His feet are always cold in the winter. He has to wear steel toed boots so I thought maybe some warm wool might help. He wore them all winter he liked them so much! I'll have to get him another pair next year so he can put them in another pair of his shoes.

great to equip shoes for cold days
I'm in LA and I can't judge for an ultimate ice and snow test, but since it's cold for just about a month here it's not worth it to buy heavy wintershoes and these inlay soles really help to get me through the worst few cold days over here! my feet felt cold and wet before and now the same shoes work just fine.... Thanks!

Be aware that this insole offers no support, but better quality than other similar sheepskin insoles.

They are comfortable to begin with, but eventually wear down. I recommend them, but don't expect them to last forever.

Too narrow
This a EU product and it is well made, but they are extremely narrow at the heel. Perhaps the standards and measurements for European products are different than for the US. I would not place them in a "men's" category as advertised.

Greetings, I never understood those persons who wait till November to change their tires. Do they think Winter will forget a year? Before going on the web to buy, I go to the web to get information on what I have. Well 11 inches and ½ by 4 inches and ¾. Like Desert storm who ship in the desert greenish uniforms, I decided to buy 12 inches and you should ear them rattling in my overshoes. Kind Regards,

Mens wool insole
I like the prompt delivery; unfortunately, the product is not quite what I expected. The wool is not as thick as I expected it to be and more importantly, the width is narrow, like a ladies insole. It is suppose to be men's insoles.

Don’t Waste Your Money
We buy new shearling inserts for our Uggs every winter. These are by far the worst, cheapest, thinnest inserts we’ve ever seen. If the box they came in didn’t get torn on Christmas morning, we’d return them for a refund. They’re so thin, their worthless. We’re going to have to buy a new (better/thicker) pair to replace them.

Fits well, feels right, and great quality.
I ordered these to replace the worn-out insoles of my sheepskin slippers. Great comfort, fit, and quality. And at the right price too. Highly recommended.
