Strong and absorbent paper towels.
I like these paper towels because they are strong and do not fall apart when wiping the stove or counters, and they are very absorbent too, you can squeeze them and continue with your cleaning. I buy a case that has 16 packs in the box. I give my friend 8 packs and they last use for about 6. months, a great deal and price, you can't beat it.

Really not very absorbent!
Sadly these have that sort of 'wax paper' feel to them, yes they absorb some water but these literally can not even come close to comparing to the (even cheaper) Costco normal tri-fold paper towels. I believe they are Marathon brand and I felt they were 'budget towels' and dealt with them. When my local store ran out I bought these and got the 'higher end' version (not the basic, but I got the 'select') and they are really poor quality. Instead of using 1 to dry my hands I have to use Minimum 2, during cooking I used 4 at a time and it felt super wasteful, I will NEVER be buying these again and can't imagine these are worth-while for any use that needs to have 'normal/ok absorbency' to dry hands etc.. maybe they are ok to wipe off a surface with some cleaner or a window but not much else..

A little disappointed for my intende use.... but maybe not for yours....
I recently started using these types of towels in my kitchen as a replacement for my paper towel rolls, figuring might be a better value so we can use paper towels to dry our hands instead of hand towels, thereby reducing cross contamination of germs and maintaining a little more clean environment in the house. I tried these hoping they would be an economical version - while they are less expensive, I find that because they are thin and hard and not so absorbant, that I am using 3x the number of towels as normal. I really did not like these towels and felt I would rather pay a little more and get a better quality towel... Sorry, but that's how I feel in regards to using these BASIC towels for home use as a replacement for paper towels. BUT that being said....... if these are to be used for the workshop to clean stuff, or somewhere else like a shop bathroom, they may be a perfect and economical towel. So to summarize....... in my opinion, if you want these as a replacement for paper towels/home use, don't get this particular version, you will probably be disappointed like I was (which is why I gave it so few stars) But if you want them for some other use, they might be great. You have to decide based on your needs whether these will work for your purposes or not.
