Works Well for Adult Diapers

I wanted a diaper pail to dispose of adult diapers. Note: I wear medium pull-ups and tape on diapers, your mileage may vary if you use larger products. I've tried adult specific diaper pails (Akord/Janibell), but the odor control was not great. I've tried the original Diaper Genie, Munchkin and Diaper Champ. The original Diaper Genie and Munchkin had openings that were way too small to accomodate an adult diaper and required alot of pishing and smooshing to get the diaper inside. The Diaper Champ was easier to use, but had too small a capacity. The Signature Diaper Genie has a large opening and easily fits a full adult diaper with minimal effort. I roll it up the diaper tightly and tape it closed into as compact a bundle as I can (for reference, I use high capacity diapers like Abena & BetterDry). The odor control is good for urine. I place any soiled diapers in a BOS odor sealing bags and then put them in the Diaper Genie. The capacity is ok. To be fair, this is for baby & child diapers and it would be great for that intended use. It is pretty large the way its currently made, so to achieve a larger adult diaper capacity, it would be too large and unwieldy. The appearence is pretty discrete aside from the words Diaper Genie on the lid, mine is in the room with my toilet and it just looks like a large trash can. If you are looking for a good adult diaper disposal solution, I think that the Diaper Genie Signature will grant your wish.

Bags not as big as you think

So far so good (5 days of use). I think they stretch the number of newborn diapers that can fit in a bag. They claim the 18 bag roll lasts 3 months. We've already filled two bags in 5 days with newborn diapers and wipes. This includes trying to press additional diapers in! We don't notice any smell so it seems to keep it in well.

Good for smell control

This is a good diaper pail that allows you to store your diapers relatively scent free. Until you open it and holy cow do you see how well it contained the smell. Putting some dryer sheets in there helps some, wearing a mask when changing out the bag helps a lot (do that outside). Minus points for the bag refill falling out if jarred slightly.

Amazing

Much much better than the genie complete! It is sturdier and more esthetic in the room.the bags are perforated and durable. I Highly recommend!!!

Love it..

I really like this diaper pail absolutely no smell..the only thing is my daughter is 2.5 years old ..so we have to change the bag every 3 days.

Great diaper pail

I love this. It’s slim and tall and easy to use. The only thing I have noticed is it is a bit harder to find extra bags. No big name stores have them and there is not an off brand option.

No odor

This diaper genie definitely works to keep out odor. However, I didn't realize it is different than the typical diaper genie. None of the off-brand bag refills are compatible so you'll have to pay for the real brand refills, which is a bummer.
