Great indoor fan with no light kit

We wanted a fan for our main living area, which has a number of can lights, so didn't want a light kit on the fan. This fits the bill nicely. It was very easy to install (since it has a rotary wall switch, there is no remote antenna and the wiring is very simple); also, with only 3 blades, that much easier and quicker to install. It's very quiet, but produces nice airflow at 3 levels of speed. We find that level 1 is where we keep it at almost all the time, but I can see turning it up when summer arrives. The switch to flip from winter to summer mode is easily accessible. I liked it enough to order a second one for another room in the house.

Sleek and simple

Easy installation

I didn’t need a light, I have multiple canned lights. This fan is sleek, modern and exactly what I wanted! Great price too.

Does not come with wireless remote control.

Bought this for our master bedroom because we wanted a hugger ceiling fan without a light. Biggest thing for us was that we wanted a remote control so that we can control the setting from the comfort of our bed. This has a remote control, but it is one that has to be hard wired into the wall. Wish this would of been explained more appropriately- or shown a picture of the “remote” now we have to figure out how to install the “remote” into our wall, and we won’t be able to control it from the comfort of our bed. Really disappointed and it’s way to hard to return when our nearest Amazon return location is 50 mins away. Hopefully this helps someone!

No low speed

Installed easy and looks great! There is a switch change as well since there is no chain so be prepared to do that electrical work too. The low speed is fast and the fast speed is super crazy fast. We would prefer a decent slow speed in the bedroom.

Looks great, performs even better!

This ceiling fan looks great and is super quiet, is heavy and very good quality. If you are looking for a ceiling fan with a modern look, this is the one. The matte black finish and design of this ceiling fan is everything I was looking for, at a super affordable price. The only downside to this fan is the blade installation. Everything was installing perfectly until it was time to install the blades. If you are following the manual, it will show that you install the blades once the fan is installed to the ceiling, but let me tell you, had my brother not been here to help me wire it up, I have no idea how I would have done it by myself, without unhooking everything and taking it down to install the blades. The problem is that the holes on the blades do not line up properly with the holes on the motor, so though you’ll be able to get one screw in you’ll have to apply a bit of pressure to get the other holes to line up to get the second screw in. Before realizing that, the screws were constantly falling out of the fan all the way to the floor causing one of us to go up and down the ladder. The problem there is that you’ll need another person to hold the motor to keep it from turning while you’re applying the pressure. So if you can, I’d suggest installing the blades first and then hanging it, if you don’t have another set of hands to help you. Other than that the fan is beautiful and we love it.

Incredibly loud

The fan motor is quite loud. The finish is really nice and I love the look of it, just wish it wasn't so loud. Packaged well and arrived on time.

Fan stoped working a few months in.

The fan looked as it should when installed. Installation was ok seemed a bit more complicated than it should have been. The problem we have is the fan stopped working and Hunter Fans has been saying since December 2022 that they would replace it and still to this date (April 2023) no replacement arrived. They say they shipped the replacement but can't provide a tracking number or the name of the shipper they used. They also said it would take up to 8 weeks. WTF shipping company they using?? Amazon can deliver it within 5 days! Keep shopping around and find a better deal.
