Great harness for dog walks

This two point harness helps the dog's awareness when pulling and gives the owner greater control so it makes for a safer walk. The short piece included is helpful when attached to a car seat belt. Fit is true to the indicated size. We wore the first one out and loved it so much we replaced it. I recommend marking "neck" and "chest" with a permanent marker to avoid confusion and make putting the harness on quickly without stress. My lab doesn't like to have to wait while I figure out how the harness should properly go on and labeling makes that easier.

Doesn't move around as much as other harnesses.

I gave up using the double leash almost immediately. It had no effect on my dog, who is reactive. It also slipped under him a lot since he is a corgi. The harness itself stays in place better than any harness I've ever used. They always show them with the leash connection ring right in the middle of their backs and mine are generally down in the middle of their sides unless they are way too tight. This one is closer to the middle, at least. I have to use a harness because my dog starts frapping and hits the limit of the leash with a snap. He's very excitable. It is also easier to control him (and not strangle him) when I haven't done my job of getting the treats out fast enough to distract him from whatever dog, person or bag blowing down the street he sees. It's not the easiest thing to get on and off, but not the hardest. I open the shoulder buckles and slip the collar part over his head without opening it. It is way harder to get off than on and he doesn't like it much, but I could open the buckle if he really hated it. He's probably just getting more mature (almost 2), but he seems to accept it better than the last one. The five stars for stretch is for not stretching.

Excellent Harness

This PetSafe 3 in 1 adjustable Dog Harness is durable and built for comfort. PetSafe lives up to it’s name. This harness is designed to be as escape proof as possible when used correctly to keep your pet safe. The lead has 2 clips which are great for securing and leash training your dog/pet. The enclosed instructions are easy to understand and follow. The harness and lead are washable. I gave the rating of 4 instead of 5 for chew proof because our puppy did manage to chew a small part of the lead but of course this is completely preventable with proper supervision and puppy proof storage. Overall very pleased with this product and highly recommend!

Only last for less than a month

My trainer recommended to train my puppy from pulling during leash training. We loves the functions of the harness but the durability is not so good. The part where we put the harness hook usually is in the front, and our puppy can reach part of it to chew. This is the first harness we got that only usable for less than a month.

Sizes are misleading, but great quality harness.

I ordered a large for my golden retriever. I took her measurements and her girth is 31", so I didn't order wrong as the large claims to fit as small as 29.5" for the girth. She is also well over 70lbs. It's a bit confusing because both the medium and large would fit her measurements according to the size chart, but I ended up going with a large due to her weight. It was HUGE. I reordered in a medium and will update. The harness is extremely good quality, so I was a bit disappointed in the sizing.

LOVE this dog harness for my 70 lb. Lab/Staffy

My 18-month-old Lab/Staffy rescue was a hard puller when we walked her. Our dog trainer recommended this specific harness design to help us with the miserable pulling situation. This new harness, plus the new to us training methods we are now using has improved what had been a difficult and often miserable walk into something we all look forward to- dog and human alike This is a five-star product for us now!

No more zoomies on leash!

I wasn't sure this would work for my dog. She's a medium sized dog, but very strong. Sometimes during walks, after a nice poop, she'll decide to start the zoomies. With her power and sudden urge to zoom while on leash, she's knocked me to my knees before. Since hooking the new leash both at the chest and back, and doing so for about a month now, she's not been able to cut to a quick zoom or pull. (Yippee!)

Poor fit

Despite measuring properly and determining that my dog needed a medium, it was still too big for him and based on the dimensions, the small wouldn't fit. My search continues.

Not my favorite...

I've bought a couple of this style harness but don't care much for this brand. I bought it for the reflecting quality for evening walks, but the harness slides around the girth of my dog regardless of how much I tighten it. It works, but is annoying.

Great harness - very easy to put on

Great harness. Very easy to put on as it is one of the few harnesses with a clip on the portion that goes around neck. Only issue I have is that my pup grew out of the chest part before she was large enough around the neck to move up to the medium size.
