Good tops but inconsistent sizing

I have these tops in many colors. I do like them because they come in so many colors, are very lightweight/breathable, and hold up great to lots of wear and washing. I have 2 general complaints: 1. Every one of mine is a size Small, and they all fit me completely differently. I have 2 I can't wear at all because they are too tight (I tried on only one and assumed they were all the same, then missed the return window). Some are much longer than others hanging way past my waist, and some are bigger than others in the arm/neck area. I understand there's a margin of error with clothing, but these are drastically different from each other. 2. Some of the colors are practically transparent, and the tighter they are on you, the more true that is. The white top (one of the 2 I mentioned that I can't even wear) is so snug that it hugs a mole on my belly. You can literally see the outline of the mole pressing right into my shirt. It's a very unflattering look. If someone were to sit down in that top, you'd see your waistband, bra, muffin top, and whatever else you've got under there. So to sum that up, I guess I'd just say that these will look better if they don't hug your body OR if they are darker colors that aren't as transparent. Specific to this top (Tourmaline Teal), I absolutely love the beautiful shade of green. Of all the tops I have this one is my favorite color. This is also the only one that arrived with deep creases. Even washing it didn't remove the wrinkles -- I had to iron it before I could even show up to the gym in this top. Not a big deal and probably just due to how it was stored. Overall, I recommend these and would buy even more colors if they ever come back in stock.

Size up from UA t-shirts UPDATE: at bottom of review

Love UA’s clothes, and so far, these tanks are no exception. I have run and lifted weights in my new tank, and I am very happy with how it looks and feels. I normally wear an XS in UA t-shirts, but the XS in this tank was crazy tight. Not sure I want to be showing that much bodily detail. Small fit great. Ordered 3 more for hot summer runs. Update: Discovered these tanks will snag with rubber dumbbells :( Still love the tanks, just can’t use them while doing goblet squats, glute brides, etc. I am also going to wash them in a lingerie bag just to be safe.

I live in a very hot climate and play pickle ball, golf, tennis, hike, bike and I need a light weight racer back tank that I will not get overheated in. this is a great find and I just love it. I think it runs big so I ordered a small and it works just fine. I am 5’7”, 120 pounds. I have three colors in this tank right now ! so I am very pleased with this product

Love this top-versatile, excellent performance!

Super comfortable, breathable, sweat wicking. I live in WI & wear this year round! In summer as a tank-it is great for work outs. In winter, I wear as primary base layer to wick away sweat & on warm ski days (high 30s or above with sunshine), I wear just this tank & my high quality ski jacket & it is perfect!! I own two-this color & black. My daughters also own two each! Plan to purchase more colors!

Worthy of the label “HeatGear”

This is one of the few products advertised for its moisture-wicking properties that actually delivers on that promise. Is by far the coolest running shirt I own, and I will likely buy more of them. The mesh in the “Y” at the back of the tank top is so cool and airy, and the shirt feels so light it’s like you’re not wearing it. I wish there were HeatGear pants that were this effective at providing air flow and feeling so light, even as the sweat builds up on a long run. Another plus is that, at least for me, there’s no under-arm chafing. Usually I use an anti-chafing roll-on to prevent that with normal T-shirts, but with this tank I don’t need it. I definitely recommend this tank to anyone running in hot weather, or who sweats a lot.
