Cool and crisp

This is the second set I have bought. We like percale for the cooler and crispy feel. It does have a wrinkled appearance right out of the dryer but it doesn’t matter to us. I will be ordering more in case they become unavailable or stock depleted.

There’s nothing better than percale in summer

I am a sheet snob, I admit it. Of the dozens of sets of sheets I own, I use nothing but percale in summer. I’m a hot sleeper and I love the crisp coolness of fresh percale. Tribeca Living makes wonderful percale sheets with extra deep pockets and oversized top sheets that wash beautifully and feel smooth and cool. Some people complain about the crispness; I love it in the hot summer. Some say these sheets wrinkle badly; I haven’t found it to be a problem and even if there were wrinkles I’d gladly trade them for the cool crispness of the percale weave. I don’t know how people sleep on bamboo or microfiber, IMO 100% cotton percale is the best.

These are 100% cotton PERCALE

I wonder if the reviewers who didn't like these sheets knew what "cotton percale" was before they ordered? My FAVORITE sheets, also 100% cotton percale, that I got many years ago finally died. They were so soft and cool, after many years of service and washings. I looked around...trust me it is not easy to find 100% cotton percale sheets. These are exactly what I was looking for. No, these are NOT "sateen" sheets, nor do they contain Polyester. So, yes, they wrinkle (which is fine with me). They are thin. But, these "thin" sheets are way stronger than any 4:1 "sateen" weave, and will last many more years than those, and won't pill along the way. Do some research on percale vs. sateen. If you want sateen, then don't buy percale sheets. But, if you want crisp, cool sheets that last for years and get softer with age...then by all means get these. We love them. One thing that I also learned that may be helpful is that if you are looking for a cooler sheet, you are going to want to look for a LOWER thread count. It seems like cotton percale sheets range from around 250 - 400 t.c. The lower you go, the "coarser" the sheets feel, the higher the "smoother" they feel (but hotter). THESE ARE PERFECT SUMMER SHEETS, on the lower end of the scale, but not the lowest...so they feel great, without trapping too much heat. And note that we live in a cold climate, so switch to quality 500 t.c. 100% cotton damask stripe sheets in the fall (our "cold weather" sheets). It is quite noticeable how much warmer those other sheets are than the cotton percale. Also note what other reviewers have said...these are quite deep on the fitted sheet. I have a deep mattress so these work better than many...just FYI on that. We do like that the elastic goes all the way around, not just in the corners. These sheets are made very well.

I love these sheets BUT...

I got these sheets in July 2022. I have only used them about 4 times. (I have several sheet sets that I rotate). The last time I was putting them on my bed I noticed there is a hole starting in the corner of the fitted sheet. Not the seam line, but just on the upper corner. It is fraying! I know it is only going to get worse and the sheet will become un-useable. I am so sad because these are some of my favorite sheets ever! I don't know if I got a bad set or what. I would return, but I am past my return window sadly.

Very Disappointed

I love this brand. However the plain set I purchased is not what I am used to. All other sheet sets from Tribecca Living deep pocket were prints. This was our 1st purchase of a solid color. Laundered per directions - horrified when they were so wrinkled out of the dryer - even on the wrinkle free setting. Yes they feel good, yes they fit the bed - love the elastic all the way around - but they look horrible. Will not buy again. Maybe the process has changed. Not happy at all.

This bottom sheet will fit an 18 Inch Deep Mattress with room to spare

It's very hard to find sheets for this size mattress. This bottom sheet was actually oversized. Thanks for the online description regarding the fit. Orders from other sources had to be returned because the bottom sheet pocket was too shallow. The sheets have not pilled at all in 3 washings but they do pick up a considerable amount of lint and one pillowcase seam has started to unravel, which I am capable of repairing. However, the sheets do wrinkle a lot. I wash on cold-delicate and dry on low, remove very damp, hand iron pillowcases and top band on top sheet. The fit of the top sheet is a problem. The top sheet is long to the foot of the bed but the sides cannot be tucked in to the mattress. FYI, as this may/may not be important to you. The sky blue color description is misleading. I use Pantone colors so descriptions are accurate and can be shared. This blue is very similar to Pantone Aqua Gray 15-5421. It is not sky blue. That said, this shade of blue is "having a moment" right now, in interior décor, as are other strong mid-tone blues. So it may be a pleasant addition to your décor scheme. The cost and quality of these sheet is equivalent to that of discount home stores. I would not buy these again but most people aren't too fussy about messy sheets these days,

Most like old-fashioned percale

I was looking for sheets that were crisp and cool and smooth like the 60/40 cotton-polyester percale sheets of the 60s. These come very close. I don’t want soft slippery sateen sheets. These are wrinkled after coming out of the dryer but they stay cool and crisp throughout the night. And the price is right!

Don’t recommend

These sheets are very rough and they definitely aren’t “cool and crisp” as they state in their description. They also attract lint like crazy.

Very very poor quality - wrinkles everywhere :(

I am not sure whether or not I just received a defective product, but this is without a doubt the absolute lowest quality sheet set I have ever purchased, including those of discount retailers. I received a Tribeca set as a gift and am thoroughly disappointed and would definitely not recommend.
