Punny, Useful Spatula

I love this spatula, and the pun makes it a little more fun to use. - I got the "Don't Go Bacon My Heart" version, because my daughter loves bacon, and I knew she would find this funny (and she does!) - The handle has a bit of a velvety texture because the wood has not been finely sanded, but I know that will "break in" over time - The spatula edges are sharp and cleanly swipe things out of my mixing bowl - I like that the spatula head end is flat, not rounded like some, because it swipes the bottom of flat bowls/pots better One strange thing: the plastic cover/wrapper thing was anchored between the head and the handle, and it tore cleanly off the pieces that are wedged into that part of the spatula, leaving squared off pieces of plastic sticking out. I had to get a pair of tweezers to be able to grab under those teeny plastic corners to be able to grip and tug, and they were not easy to get out. I took a picture showing one side halfway out and the other side still intact & will add to my review.

Cute and functional

Tovolo generally makes kitchen products that are both cute and functional, and this silicone spatula is no exception. The design is printed well so I don't expect it to come off even after repeated use. More importantly, this silicone spatula is functional. The spatula adheres firmly to the wooden handle and is itself firm enough to use to stir or mix, but also has that slight give that lets you use it to scrape every drop of batter out of a bowl.

I think this is so cute! I can't help but want more of these with different sayings, but I don't really need any more of them! Haha... I don't really frost cakes or anything..I use this when I am making scrambled eggs and things like that. Happy????

Love it!

Pictures are spot on, spaghetti sauce hasn’t stained it yet, goes through dishwasher fine. Only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is there’s a hard edge left from the packaging where the head meets the handle. Doesn’t interfere with use though
