Works, but requires a LOT of adjustments.
I expected this manifold to work much better than it did. I use this manifold in my lettuce garden's hydroponic system to distribute water to my flood and drain buckets. I must say that this is the least effective part of the system, and has caused me the most headaches and frustration. I bought this manifold because I had limited options for a 1/2 inch inlet -to- 1/4 inch outlets, and this seemed to fit my needs. Once I received this product I found out it leaks, clogs and is very slow...Perhaps if I used it on a drip system, then I would rate it higher, but I need a steady flow to flood and drain my buckets, therefore it was somewhat unsuitable for me. - The manifold comes with 2 filters - one already pre-installed, the other is in the parts bag. The pre-installed filter slows down the flow of water through the manifold; I found that by removing the filter it makes the flow of water 10x better and faster. - The manifold has nine 1/4-inch outlets, and each outlet has a cap so that you can seal off any outlets that are not used. Sometimes the outlets simply do not work, and you have to "jiggle" the outlet to get water to flow through it....Well, my plants are on a timed water system, and sometimes I am not there to monitor the watering. If one of the outlets stop working - that plant does not receive any water, which spells disaster in my garden. Also, when one outlet stops working - the other outlets work overtime..If I have 3 buckets that each receive one gallon of water (3 gallons total) and one outlet stops working, the other 2 buckets will over flow because they are each receiving 1.5 gallons of water. It is a nightmare when the system over flows and floods the basement. With a few major adjustments, I eventually got this system to work effectively, but I'm upset it didn't work very well out of the box. I would recommend you find a different product if you have other options available to you.. Thanks! C. Cole PhD

these are pretty solid, but not lifetime, but what is. these last at least 7 years for me. some are still going strong 10+ years. love them. sticking with them. my only complaint is that i cant buy replacement parts for inside (little filter and other piece) and the girl i spoke with at toro was pretty dismissive and rude. whatever. still a good product.

Good dripper, non-adjustable, but be careful of water pressure issues.
Pretty easy to attach 1/4" tubing, just make sure you've got a pressure reducer upstream (30 PSI worked for me) because these things will explode violently and spectacularly if your water pressure is too much higher than that.
