Cut off the sleeves and trash the cape, the rest will stand alone. Good quality for the price.
I was going as Clark Kent and this was perfect for peeking out from underneath the white shirt. The bad first: the neoprene type material on the front is thick and can get hot and sweaty fast, especially under a long sleeve shirt. You may want to wear something underneath it to avoid nipple chaffing. I did cut off the sleeves as many others did, because they flop up so comically that they are both annoying and visually distracting (there is a very forgiving flap that covers the shoulder seem so its not noticeable even if you cut it poorly). The cape's symbol is about 1/3 the size of off that on the chest and looks silly, just don't wear it or get a real cape. The good: it's really easy to put on, and gets you 90% of the way to a respectable costume. The sizes run pretty true to size and for a pre-made costume the quality was good.

Good Fit, Awkward Sleeves
The body and cape of this costume are great! The sleeves, however, stick straight out from the shoulders about 7 or 8 inches…NOT a good look for Superman. (I altered the sleeve “caps” with some hand sewing to make it look better.)

May require modification
I was looking for a quick and easy costume for Halloween this year and after meeting a nice young lady who was dressing as Wonderwoman, I decided to go as Superman. The costume is just okay... the chest section is a bit rigid and stuck out from my body a bit awkwardly. I made many adjustments to this; cutting off the sleeves (also awkward), pinning back the chest piece, and detaching the cape; after which it looked pretty good. I wore a white button down over this, unbuttoned slightly to have the Clark Kent look. I got many compliments after my modifications were done and I was happy with the result, but only after I changed it.

Chest piece is a molded foam material that is somewhat stiff. I felt like I was tearing something when I put it on but didn't find any defects. Its a Halloween superman costume that you wear for an hour or 2 then toss in a corner until next year. If I needed another one, I would buy again.

Great as an alone piece!
I wore just this as a costume to 5 Halloween parties this year. Best costume in 2 of them. The cape can be removed easily. It is just the upper half and cape, simple!! So glad I found it!

Make it your own
I wore this for a Clark Kent costume it's a little awkward to wear for a suit. But if you cut the sleeves off, staple the back to be a smaller fit, you will be pleased with your Superman costume.

Buenísimo
My dad uses it for work (he's a pediatrician) and the kids love it. Only weird thing is the velcro bottom up at the back.
