Cute timer, though time is a little off.

I really liked the design of this timer and got it even though the times is uses are a little less then I would usually steep my tea. I used a stopwatch to check how accurate it is and for mine is seems to be 6 seconds short on all of the dials. This isn't a huge issue since I wanted the timer more as a visual indicator since I sometimes get lost in thought and over steep. Still really cute and I am glad I got it.

Perfect Tea Timer

I used to set a timer on my phone, but the alarm isn’t soothing at all, it’s meant to be noticed. This tea timer is a more soothing way to time my tea. It is very well made, sanded perfectly. I like that it has the temperatures for each kind of tea on it too. And BOTH ends are carved.

Lovely little timer, mostly accurate.

This is a lovely little piece! Lightweight, but feels sturdy enough. The glass is clear and the colors vibrant. I tested it to an electronic timer and it was pretty accurate - off only by a few seconds, if that. However, the one I received seems to have a “sticky” 2-minute timer. Just the 2 minute, though. Maybe its defective, or maybe I actually have a pocket of chaotic space floating around my house causing all of time to stop and this 2-minute timer is the only way I could possibly know! Then again, all it takes is a gentle tap on the top, or shake, and it’ll get going again. So just watch it. ;) Regardless, I couldn’t give it full-marks for accuracy, unfortunately.

Not the most accurate but (1) sand timers aren't generally all that accurate and (2) for the price it is accurate enough. If purchasing again I might spend more and get a "fancier" one (metal housing, etc.) and certainly would upgrade if gifting this. "Bottom line:" it works as well as I need it to.

Only has one two or three minutes. Most teas are four or five minutes. Good quality but would be better if it were three, four, five.

optisch ansprechender Tea Timer (Sanduhr)

Der Trio Tea Timer ist optisch sehr ansprechend. Die unterschiedlichen Farben sind entsprechend der Teeart gewählt: • 1min = weiß = weißer Tee • 2min = grün = grüner Tee • 3min = schwarz = schwarzer Tee Man kann also je nach Wunsch mit den Zeiten prima innerhalb dieser drei Minuten oder auch weiter variieren. Mir gefällt das Produkt sehr gut, auch weil es in der heutigen digitalen Welt etwas nostalgisch, also als Sanduhr, daherkommt.
