Timberland quality at its finest
I used these for over 3 years before replacing them as my main work boots and, after a few repairs, I still keep them around as a backup pair. They definitely saved me from injury on more than one occasion. After being broken in, they are extremely comfortable. The rubber toe cap is great if you occasionally have to kick things, since you don't have worry about damaging the leather, which is still in good shape on my pair. These are by far the best boots I have ever owned.

Great for automotive
I've had these boots for two years now and they still fill great. The original inserts aren't great but with better ones they're comfortable. They have plenty of toe room. Great for automotive work with oils on the ground and really don't slip around a lot.

Tried and True
My husband is a diesel mechanic and these are the only boots that does him right. He has super extra wide feet but these Boondocks seem to fit him well. He puts tons of miles on them but they hold up strong.

Best work boots for heavy duty mechanics
I had a pair of Carhartt boots prior to these and the carhartts only lasted 6 months. I’ve had these Timberland Pro’s for almost 3 years now. They break in fast, comfortable to walk in all day. They’re really warm in the winter, not too hot in the summer. Very good water proofing. Slip resistant is very good for oils, hydraulic fluid, fuel, aircraft de-ice fluid. There are only 2 complaints I have; the oem laces are complete trash and so are the oem insoles. The soles lasted me only 8 months and laces tore in like 6 months. Buy better insoles and Kevlar laces. I’ve dropped parts & tools on my foot and didn’t feel a thing. These are also really good boots for welding and using cutting torches. 10/10 must have boot for mechanics

Most comfortable steel toe shoes I’ve had.
This is my third pair of these boots. They last a long time and the anti-fatigue system works.

Owned 3 pairs over 13 years
I've worn these boots since 2007, finally ordering a 4th pair. First pair I received from a Timberland sponsored community service project. These are very comfortable boots to wear 10+hrs on concrete floors, outdoors etc. The leather holds up very well and is very supple unlike some red wing boots and anecdotally 10x more comfortable than redwings as those are the standard to which every safety toe work boot is compared. They do seemingly loosen up a bit too much after a year but replacing the insole and wearing wool boot socks alleviates this issue. Most pairs I've owned have lasted 2-3 years of 50+ hrs/wk with the first pair lasting about 5 years (less use). They are heavy boots, when compared with much of what is available, and the first thing anyone who picks them up comments on but the comfort and stability these provide is unmatched by any other safety toe boot I have tried. The primary failure point that I've had with ALL of these boots are the laces, the eyelets cut through laces fast. Even polyamide (kevlar) laces don't last and I've tried various "unbreakable" laces. Polyamide is the only thing that lasts more than 6mo on these boots. The true death knoll for these boots always seems to be the sole splits/tears off near the toe/side of the toe. The soles are sewn into the leather of the boot but it's just not enough and tears through eventually. If Timberland could do anything to improve the eyelets and reinforce the sole to boot attachment these would probably last 5 years as you don't abuse your boots. That being said, since the soles are rather heavy and the failure point is the sole separating, people who like to kick heavy objects (pallets, boards, whatever) to move them around will ruin these boots quickly. Especially if you use the toe of the sole. Puts a ton of stress on the attachment and will tear the sole off. I am not saying they can't stand abuse but doing this is from my experience what causes them to fail. If I didn't kick anything with them they would likely last twice as long. TL;DR these are great boots that are comfortable and last quite long for hardworking/abused work boots. Laces tend to break/get cut more often and the soles eventually tear away near the toe after 2-3 years (for me).

All day comfort climbing ladders, working on rough terrain, or hiking challenging terrain.
My fourth pair of Timberland Pro boot’s because they are simply the most durable and comfortable boots on the market. I have a 3e+ wide foot, these are the only boots I can wear comfortably all day long. I tried to replace my Pro’s with Keen work boots. The Keen boots were heavier and not wide enough for me to wear for more than a couple hours without the toe box squeezing my feet. These boots are built to support whatever hard work you throw at them all day long. They’re dependably waterproof on top of all that. I prefer the rubber toe over the leather toe for aesthetic purposes over time. These boots are comfortable for me out of the box becoming almost as comfortable as slippers over time. I provided a picture of the leather toe boots I’m replacing this time.

Timberland Pro
It's my second pair of these boots. I normally get Dakota boots have gotten these boots for over 2 decades. Tried the Timberland Pro and I will never go back. These boots are so comfortable. Even after a full shift as a carpenter I get home and walk my dog with these boots. I highly recommend them.

Not certified!!!
These do not have the certification markings, and therefor are useless on any job site in Canada. I had to send them back. I was able to find the exact same boot elsewhere with the certifications and they are an awesome boot, I would highly recommend. They do fit the right length, but roomy. You will end up having to get really thick insoles to make them snug.

Perfectas
