Not made of brass as stated.

Description of product states material and metal is brass. Only a brass finish. If the material was brass, it would not stick to a magnet. Was going to use in making an alcohol jet stove using 91% rubbing alcohol. The small amount of water would cause corrosion.

NOT BRASS, but electroplated steel

The Good: The nipple is completely functional, and fits all other threaded parts. I bought them on Christmas and received Jan 2, Great shipping; 8 total days from pressing the button to arriving at the door and that was done with 2 holidays and a weekend. The Bad: This are not brass as described, "Long-lasting durable brass finish", they are steel that have been electroplated. The Big box stores carry these same type of nipple in a assorted package of 8 nipples for $2.99. The 8 pack has 2 nipples that are the same size as the ones here, I would have had to buy 5 packs to get what I needed andj had 30 extra nipple left over for the another project that may or may not happen. Price wise I would have save myself a couple of buck on shipping, and had the parts on Dec 28 instead. Life a gamble, Sometimes you win, Some times you loose, Sometimes you break even. Bottom line the parts were functional.

Not as advertised

These are advertised as brass, they are not brass. I needed a rush order for a marine application and they did arrive quickly. They are useless for what I need and am very disappointed in their material listing as brass

Good Quality lamp pipe

These 1" lamp pipe worked well for my use. The pipe was a perfect fit for the lamp socket tread and allowed the 2 electrical wires from the socket to go through the pipe.
