Here are some details about these nails

The nails are fine for what they are, so they get 5 stars. I couldn’t find 1-1/4” Hillman wire nails on Amazon so I ordered these box nails. They won’t do however for my current project, but I will have a use for them in due time. Here’s what you might want to know. These are 3D box nails which are greater in diameter than wire nails. I found Hillman Group wire nails at my local hardware. Size 16 which are 1.59mm in diameter and size 17 which are 1.37mm in diameter. They are all in 1.75 oz. packages which translates to 56 pieces for the 3D box nails and 66 pieces for the both the size 16 and 17 wire nails. Also, the wire nails were about $2 less than the box nails.

"Box nails" not a BOX of nails

I'm sure these are great if you need them for what they are. Just be aware that these are "box nails" and not a BOX of nails. Otherwise, you are in for an costly mistake.

These are not box nails. They are bright 3d common nails 0.083 inches in diameter.
