old school standard for anching heavier loads into drywall

There are a lot of fancy new anchors and some of them work well but this is the old school standard for anchoring to drywall. I had some shelves in my basement fall down recently because they were overloaded and attached to drywall using the small/cheap basic anchors. I was lucky to find a bo of these on Amazon Warehouse for significant discount and got them in 2 days. I anchored a 2x3 to the wall to back the shelf with 3 of them and have the rest of the box for I'm sure the rest of my life and will just leave them in the tool shed. The screw can be cut to depth but its nice to have longer 4 inch screws that can in fact be cut if needed. Anyway great example of product around for along time that just works.

Worked great

Needed to put a hand rail on a set of stairs, the drywall was super thick so needed these extra long bolts. They work great and the rail is very secure.

They work for standard walls perfectly

I have used these to mount various things from microwaves to heavy shelving in drywall and these work great. Obviously you are going to leave more of a hole in the wall if you want to remove the shelf later. Also, these screws are long but that makes it very easy to manipulate through the hole. These fit perfectly fine inside standard walls.

Strong spring load, well made.

Like-this toggle is spring strong. A lot of other makers tend to be weak at the spring load. I’ve used about 20 of them so far and everyone worked accordingly and hassle free. I used others that tend to be weak, fold up or break. Dislikes-none really. Suggestion- screw length should come in a few lengths for separate applications without compromising the circumference. I’ll just hacksaw them as needed. If they do come in different lengths (I didn’t see where available) please advise!

Perfect for Everything!!!

I used (4) of these to the secure the bathroom sink cabinet to the wall since there was no studs directly behind it. Worked like a charm and the bathroom sink cabinet is on there solid like a rock!!!

They work great for floating shelves when you can't anchor to a stud!

I had to use toggle bolts to attach my floating shelves because of my limited space next to my wall mounted TV.

Great holding power

Plenty of holding power, the wall will likely fail before your toggle bolt will. The only, minor issue is the number printed on the wings is the size of the bolt's shaft, not the size of the hole you've got to drill to fit the spring wings into the wall.
