Great quality

I love American Apparels tees. They are soft and great quality and fit. Good basic tee for your wardrobe.

Fabric too thin

Fit is fine, but the shirt is a bit too thin, in that I can see skin color through it. If using as an undershirt, I guess it would be fine. Otherwise, you need an undershirt or camisole under it. Would have liked it to be heavier. I still used for shirts that were only going to be worn once, but will not order this brand again.

Disappointing

The quality isn’t nearly as nice and soft as the old original American Apparel brand.

Nice quality but very small

Soft, made well. Very, very small. My son is 7, wears size 7. Ordered size 8 and it fits more like 5/6. Reordered in size 10 and it’s perfect.

Youth sizes can fit a women's small

This shirt has a great fit. I got the youth size 12 and it fits me perfectly! I am 5 ft. 5 inches tall, 130 lbs. waist 27 inches, bust 32 C.

Nice soft material, basic t shirt

The material is soft against your skin, no odd seems with itchy left over thread to rub. All seems were done up, no open or incomplete stitching was found. Color is a nice solid black. Size is as labeled. Overall a nice basic soft crew-neck t-shirt. Washed & dried in a normal load of laundry had no shrinking, no color fading , and no bleeding of dye.

Great basic line, just size up

American apparel always fits a little small, so we size up. In his size up, this fit my son perfectly, and he looked extremely sharp in this very black, nicely shaped slim fit T-shirt. It washed well and didn't shrink appreciably, and also didn't fade. I really like the quality of the combed cotton and the softness of the fabric and yet appreciate also that it still feels very sturdy. Nicely made line of basics.

Planning on getting this in several differnt colors

My ten-year-old daughter is super picky about her clothes these days, and wants to wear things that are simple and classic. This t-shirt is perfect. It is very well-made and comfortable. My daughter is about 85 pounds and the size 12 fits great, with a little bit of room to grow. We will probably get the t-shirt in several other colors as the price is great for the quality.
