Great product

I was able to let go of my child in water (still supervised) to see if this product would keep them afloat and it surely did. They were able to practice swimming and move around. It is vital to use as instructed. Overall great product

Adorable

This is adorable! My little one loves the design and is willing to use it (she doesn't like being the only one with a flotation device). It fits her well at 30 lbs so I wouldn't expect it to do well on the higher end of the listed weight. Otherwise, it's a thumbs up from my girl!

Fits arms good but belt needs to be longer

I ordered this for my 4 year old who wears size 5/6 and 6 clothes and weighs around 45lbs. The arms fit well with some wiggle room but the belt that goes around the torso is quite tight at the widest setting. Even my thinner 7 year old who weighs around 55lbs, the higher of the weight limit for this, found it really tight. Aside from the tight belt, it works well and keeps my 4 year old floating in the pool.

For a bigger toddler.

No swim test yet. My kiddo has a fascination with this but we are still working on feeling comfortable in bigger water. our old one was about too small. With this on my 41 Lb toddler it had 2" out of a 5" strap left with room to extend left. The adjustment strap is short but it was halfway. My kiddo saw this and proceeded to enjoy the afternoon wearing this despite a lack of pool action. This is cut so it seems to floats the upper chest more than the back. The kiddo has got to support/control their own head to keep it out of the water. We'll see if they like this when swim season hits. I've had an item change on me in the far past. At purchase this was called "SwimWays Swim Trainer, US Coast Guard Approved Life Vest Kids Swim Vest, Arm Floaties & Life Jackets for Kids 33-55 lbs, Mermaid" This is a new product, so it's description may adjust to suit the product over time.

Comfortable fit for toddler but unsure about safety…

This fits my 2 year old perfectly. I was concerned that it would be too big and it wasn’t at all. She thought it was pretty and wore it around the house for 2 days straight. Because of that I’m assuming it must be somewhat comfortable since it didn’t seem to bother her at all. After ordering this product I read that the swim vests are a safer and better alternative for preventing drowning. So, I need to do my own research to decide if we will be keeping this.

Safe and Effective Life Vest

I got this for my daughter-in-law, and the following is her review: This life vest is meant for children 2-4 years of age who weigh 30-50lbs. It is easy to put on as their arms can slip through the arm wings, and then the main piece goes around their chest area and buckles in the back. You can tighten or loosen the buckle strap to help it stay on well. The jacket's material feels comfortable, and I love the excellent mermaid design with pastel colors. It fits great and allows children to learn how to swim with it on while keeping them safe and floating upright. Overall, no complaints here, as this is a great life vest for young kids.
