TYpical speedo quality, comfortable

Fair disclosure, I am a swim coach and have 5 kids on a competitive swim team sponsored by speedo. In general, I find their suits and gear to be top notch but feel their clothes run small. She finds the design to be very comfortable (she swims all four strokes but specializes in fly). The suit should be good for breaststroke as well as the leg holes are racing cut. One of my daughters wears a size 26 suit and that is what we received. The suit fits her like a typical speedo. This suit is fully lined. The fabric has a slightly rough feel to it, not the smooth suit that you usually have, so it is better as a practice suit than an actual racing suit. It is made from polyester so should last even with daily use. Made in Sri Lanka. Tag says machine wash cold but we hand rinse, then soak in cold water for 10 minutes and dry flat to improve longevity.

Good Quality

This is a very durable swimsuit. It is fully lined so the outside looks completely smooth. The texture of the suit is rough on the outside, but it is not itchy. The design of this suit is cute, although when it says "cheeky" on the description, it is not kidding. The back is very low and has minimal coverage so I would advise ordering a size up. In all, this is a very good practice swimsuit.

A nice option even if not on a team

These are really streamlined, solid suits. The color range is awesome -- great for swim teams, of course, but also just for swimwear in general. Pick your favorite color and all that. The straps cut in just a little bit, but other than that, it's comfortable and fits true to size.

Read the size chart carefully

This seems like a sturdy, well-made bathing suit. All the stitching is neat, and it’s totally lined in opaque black fabric. Too bad it doesn’t fit me. I’m 5’4” and 98 pounds, so in modern American sizes, I generally wear large children’s sizes, or the smallest adult women’s sizes I can find. Speedo has their own size chart, which is very different from other companies’ size charts. That’s good, considering how inflated American size charts have gotten recently, but I apparently read it wrong since the size 26 I got is definitely too small for me. It pinches my pectoral muscles. Also, it has a cheeky cut in back, which would be fine if it weren’t so tight on me. As it is, the tight lower hem divides each cheek into two, resulting in an unflattering quadributt effect. It won’t go to waste. It’s slightly too large for my 9-year-old now, but she should grow into it soon.

Super Nice Swimsuit!

I am not a competitive swimmer, but wanted this suit for when I go out and participate in water sports. I wanted something that I could move in that wouldn’t move or show anything. This IS that suit for me. It is completely lined. This swimsuit is way nice than any other I’ve owned. The seams, fabric, and lining are all so nice. The suit covers everything and stays tight to the body. I think the “slightly cheeky” is accurate. It’s not complete coverage, and comes up the hip slightly. I love it! This suit is great! I went buy the size chart and it was correct!
