This is a great lip stain and Stila is a great company
This is a great lip stain and Stila is a great company. I bought this after receiving a free red version as a Sephora birthday gift a few years ago. It was my first lip stain and I absolutely adored it, but I had been unwilling to splurge on this and went years buying cheaper lip stains, most of which were not quite as good as Stila, and eventually caved. I knocked one star off here, however, because upon using this I realize that I did find one significantly cheaper brand that really is even better in a few key ways - Covergirl Outlast. While this (Stila) lip stain stays on the majority of the day, it does start to fade a bit about midway through the day. Also, if you rub your lips together you can feel a slight dry coating. Third, bits of color does come off on cups and bottles. With Covergirl Outlast, I can't even feel that it's there when I rub my lips together. I've often applied it in the morning, fallen asleep forgetting to take it off, and woke up the next morning only barely needing to touch it up. I can rub my lips with tissue paper or my finger and no color comes off at all. Covergirl Outlast is somewhat limited in colors, but for the quality and reduced price, I will probably stick with them when buying future lip stains.

Nice matte lip
This is my second Stila All Day liquid lipstick. I love the color, it’s a nice berry. As with the other one this is nice and matte but fairly dry. Best to moisturize before wearing and put on as thin a layer as you can. Waterproof and smudge proof is pretty on par with matte long lasting.

Bacca is Raspberry Heaven
Bacca is the second Stila purchase I’ve made. I am in LOVE with this lipstick. It is a true matte and wears all day. It is not smudge proof, but even after a work day of drinking water and breakfast and lunch it still looks great. I wasn’t sure about Bacca because the color online wasn’t the Raspberry I was hunting for. I decided to google pics of Bacca reviews and saw that the color was not accurate and decided to try it. It is a true raspberry. I use only one light coat and blot well. I also use a liner which is a must with a matte lipstick.

Great colors
Love the colors, but no longevity. I don't have time for constant reapply and this unfortunately requires it. I drink out of straws only, didn't make a difference.

DOES NOT STAY
This is WAY brighter than it appeared on pictures. Nice shade but very bright. But it did NOT stay. It totally dried out my lips (I tried with and without primer), and it smudged down beneath them, got on coffee cups and glasses, and ended up just a faint line around my lips. So disappointed.

It's best one of this kind on your lips
It's the only brand of lipstick like this kind I use. It looks nice on and doesn't dry your lips like crazy also they feel comfortable on your lips. Not like many that feel rough and stiff. I love this color.
