Most accurate Biker Scout (Scout Trooper) 3.75” sculpt yet!

The Scout Trooper (or Biker Scout as I like to call ‘em) has always been one of my top 3 favorite Starwars designs. Right up there with Boba Fett and Boussh. And THIS figure is the most accurate 3.75” version yet. Hasbro finally updated the sculpt they’ve been using for the last 15 years or so and gave us a scout trooper with a proper gigantic proportionally bucket-sized helmet! Articulation is typical of what you find with Hasbro’s new Vintage Collection line. His head has above average range of articulation for all of his poses when leaning low on the speeder bike. And yes, he does have a pistol that fits loosely into his boot holster. Paint apps are close enough to perfect for me. As for any negative criticisms, he is made of the rubbery plastic Hasbro has been using with most of their recent figures. Also, the figures basic stance is a bit more bow-legged than a typical Starwars figure. It’s not super noticeable to me though. Lastly, his gun slips out of the holster fairly easily. If I just flip him upside down, the gun falls out. As for the speeder bike, it looks great and it comes with a little clear stand so you can pose it as if it’s swooshing through the air. The front end can open like a car hood and you can see the detailed engine in there. Flaps on the rear can be moved into whatever position you want them in- they are no longer controlled by the pedals. The handlebars and foot pedals are locked in one position. I was a bit bummed to see I couldn’t press the pedals down to re-enact a speed boost. That said, the trooper looks amazing on the bike. With a little bit of work, I am able to get his hands on the handlebars and feet on both pedals, although I have not been able to get his butt flush against the seat. I like this set so much I ordered a second and I’m hoping they release the Scout Trooper on a card by himself soon!

Just received it, worth the wait

I pre-purchased it, the bike is very detailed, is smaller than the original one (first version in the 80s), but is worth to display in your shelf if you are a die hard star wars fan
