The perfect swim skort!

I’ve been in search of the perfect swim SKORT for over a year. This one fits the bill. Not too short, not too long. Look at the size chart not the actual size. I wear XXS - XS (00-0) and the 4 fits perfect! I like the cords; can wear two different ways. Hope they continue to make this swim skort for years to come. Bought 2 of each color; just in case! They do have a drawstring for the waist too.

Size Up, Long Shorts

This swim skort is pretty good. The quality and stitching are good and the material is durable and long-lasting. I usually wear a 12 or so and ordered this in a 14. I can get them on fine, but should have gotten a 16 as it is tight on the waist. I don't have any other bottoms that are size 16, so you will definitely want to size up. I got the black color so it would match everything and it is a good true black. I like the short skirt length, but the attached shorts are longer than the skirt, which I think is a very strange design choice. I wish the designer would take 1/2 inch of length from the shorts and add it to the skirt instead. I do appreciate TYR offering a modest cut, which I prefer when chasing my kids around the waterpark.

Too small, too short

These would be great if you could try them on in store. I love the quality and the style. Cute drawstrings on the sides. The material and waistband is great. They're just way too small by one or two sizes. And they are rather short for the size but I imagine if you size up they will also get longer.

I don’t care for the length of the shorts.

This swim skort is a great quality. It washed extremely well and retained size, shape and color. While these are all positives and what I look for in a garment I was not thrilled with the over all fit. The shorts are just a bit longer than the skirt and feel and look a bit awkward. I tried bending the shorts or folding them but that didn’t really help. It’s a great quality piece but not really my style. I was hoping for a flirty cute piece but it fell flat resulting in a real mom sporty look. I only gave it 4 stars because it missed the mark on versatility with the length of the shorts.

Runs small

I got the TYR Women's Standard Durafast Elite Della Swim Skort in Navy Lapped, size 16. I wasn't sure whether to get the 14 or 16 from the chart, but I could have even used an 18. The 16 is a hair tight. I have to agree that the style with the swim shorts longer than the fully extended skirt is odd. It looks more intentional when the skirt is pushed up along the paracord, but there is no plastic toggle to hold the paracord in place. It's just odd design. For $40, I can definitely get a nicer swim skirt.

Lovely and practical for activities.

I was happy to provide the to my wife for a fit test and review. Likes:? She loves the overall look. The grey color really pops. The fit is as expected as well. The comfort level is really good and this works for a variety of activities. She also likes that this can be used for water sports as well. There is a inner liner that makes this not a skirt, instead this is like wearing a skirt with a bathing suit underneath. Dislikes?: None. Overall?: This has a great, stylish look for activewear. It has the typical TYR quality. It is a very practical item for activities.

fits super small

Do not buy. Fits super small. Skirt doesn't even cover the rear.

Not Flattering, Too Small

I am normally a size 6 (I am 5/7,135 pounds), but I ordered a size up in these skorts. I should have ordered a size 10. The fit was too tight and super uncomfortable. The cut and fit are super unflattering.
