Not Exactly For Guitars

Amazon AI suggested these screws when I was searching for guitar parts/hardware. Although these are the correct 6-32 thread pitch and correct length for a 3- or 5-way blade switch or for mounting single coil pickups to a pickguard, the pan head is larger diameter than typical screws found on guitars. There is barely enough clearance between the pan head and a single coil cover on a Strat pickguard. If you want the look of a larger pan head then these will be fine; otherwise look elsewhere for appropriate guitar screws. These appear to be good quality screws, are packaged in a sealed plastic bag, and are made in USA. 5 stars for the screws, but minus one star for Amazon AI.

Wrong Screws Sent, label sticker differnt from label printed on bag and contents

Ordered #6-32x3/4" Phillips pan head screws, received #10-16x1" hex head self tapping screws. Printed on the bag described the contents, but a sticker was applied to the bag with the wrong description. I get it if the sticker was applied in China by someone who doesn't read English. Regardless, the manager should make sure that they know what they are doing. They look like they would be OK hardware, but not what I ordered, sets me behind in my schedule. No point in re-ordering these, probably get the wrong items again. Not the first time this type of thing has happened recently. My favorite was ordering two pressure sensors, receiving one pressure sensor and a box of hardware. How could they not see these are two very different items? Automation, wave of the future. I've no doubt Amazon will make it right.
