Great corduroy jeans!

I wanted to buy a pair of corduroy pants to replace some I have that have become too large due to my losing weight. Those were wide leg, stretch waist, wide wale corduroy that I always wore in the winter just because I love corduroy. I will probably alter them in the future but just wanted some new ones. These are an entirely different style of pants -jeans!-with a tiny wale corduroy and I LOVE them! They have just enough stretch that I don’t feel my waist is being squeezed to death when I fasten them. So very comfortable and the fit isn’t baggy but very slimming. This is my first pair of Gloria Vanderbilt jeans and now they are my favorite!

Definitely a slim fit

The juniper olive looks quite brown on Amazon's website, but in reality it's a quite bright olive green. Not the color I wanted so returning. Other than that, the pants are well-made like other Gloria Vanderbilts I have. The wale size for the corduroy is very narrow, so much that the pants almost look like velvet. They feel a bit snugger than other size 6 jeans I own, but maybe that's a result of the 'slim' in the description. They are definitely high-waisted. I'm 5ft 5 inches and weigh 130 pounds and I ordered the size 6.

Nice corduroy jeans

I like GV clothing. These ran just a bit smaller than most Amanda jeans, particularly in the waist. The color is just as pictured. I wish these were available in the camel color and slightly wider-wale corduroy I loved to wear in college! But they are well made and I am trying the dark brown ones, too.

Soft and comfortable. Nice stretch. Bought one size up since they looked like a very slim cut. Good decision. Would buy in other colors.

Flattering for a 5'3 girl

I rarely wear pants (mostly wear skirts and dresses) cause I hate the fit. These are actually really cute and comfy! I am short with a curvy athletic build. I hope they make them in more colors!!
