The blue pack is great for denim
I wear jeans most days, and the blue pack has variations that are great colors for various denim washes. Socks should match trousers. I couldn’t find anything else like it. They do wear holes into them after a year or year and a half of usage. Such is to be expected, they are socks.

My husband loves them!
Finally I got my husband to get rid of his old socks. As soon as he got these, he threw some old ones away!

light weight
These are much lighter weight than I thought they would be... we'll see how they wear...

The most comfortable socks
I love these socks because they don't feel too tight or leave a indentation line around your leg at the end of the day.

Very Comfortable
I bought these socks as a gift for my husband, and he loves them. I told him I'd buy him only Gold Toe socks in the future.

The best socks for me.
They are just the right thickness. I like the blend of materials. The colors are perfect for my wardrobe.

Very Disappointed - 35.7% (or less) of the quality of the original Gold Toe socks
I still have some older pairs (7+ years old) of Gold Toe socks that have survived the test of time. Most of those 7+ year old Gold Toe socks that I wear on a daily basis are nearly as good as new - The calf/ankle elastic is holding up perfectly fine, and the sock fabric is still thick and cushiony. I just threw out my first pair of those older socks last week due to finally seeing a thin spot on one pair's heels. None of the other pairs had this wear. I decided to purchase some new Gold Toe socks for more variety and color options than my original pairs. So ... I don't know when the Gold Toe brand decided to cheapen their overall product, but I am very disappointed with my recent Gold Toe purchase. These new socks are cheap and indistinguishable from any other current mass produced brand. The "Gold Toe" brand name no longer represents product quality - it's now just a label. First off, the amount of overall sock material is nearly paper-thin (I'll get to that in a minute). The older Gold Toe socks had enough fabric to truly expand to the perfect amount without requiring excessive elastic pressure to fit the typical "Medium Size 6 to Size 12" of olden days. However, there is so little sock material now, with slick surfaces, that these socks are a little long and loose on my size 9 feet, with a lot of elastic pressure needed to hold them to my calves. You may ask, "Well, how much thinner are the new 'Gold Toe' socks?" I have your answer right here! Using a set of precision digital calipers, I measured the thickness of two of my older Gold Toe socks in multiple folded-over areas (Heels, toes, soles, ankle elastic), and then averaged the results. The average double material thickness was: 5.43 mm. (Keep in mind that these socks have been worn for years, so the original average thickness could have been even more) I did a similar set of folded material measurements on two pairs of the new Gold Toe socks. I found that their average thickness was: 1.94 mm. A little math magic shows that the new Gold Toe socks are only 35.7% as thick as the old Gold Toe socks, which is definitely noticeable. As I mentioned previously, the older socks might have been thicker when new, so the 35.7% is probably better it should be for this comparison. These socks are so thin they definitely won't last 7 years of daily wear like my older pairs. In summary: If you are buying these socks for the old "Gold Toe" quality, those days are gone. Keep searching ... and hopefully you can find some reasonably-priced, snug-but-not tight form-fitting, comfortable socks.
