Most accurate liquid pH kit I've used

Easily the most accurate liquid pH test kit I've used. Colors are easier to read than API and the reagent doesn't stain as easily. Test tube is wonderful - you'll find yourself more excited about that than the actual testing. Bonus: Reads a much lower and much higher point than API or other options on the market. This is especially handy for keeping dwarf freshwater shrimp.

easy to use PH test

I like this test for ease of use, and I trust that Sera is one of the better producers for our hobby. The results are easy enough to read, but the problem comes in when you try to compare the test tube color with the chart. This is of course a problem with other liquid test kits also.

not good enough for salt water reef tank

Accepted pH level in a basic, fish only saltwater system is between 7.6 and 8.4, but reef tanks are more sensitive, and need to be kept at the higher end of the pH scale, 8.0 to 8.4. This test kit has increments of .5 on the color reference chart. . Factors like lighting and opacity of the print chart vs and the translucent liquid in the vile means the human eye is also not sensitive enough to discern accurately between color on this chart and the color of the liquid. Meaning a reading of 8 could easy be as far as 1 or more pH off in ether direction. I bought this kit but will not use it with my reef tank.

Ottimo prodotto e anche economico. I miei guppy erano stressati e ho pensato di acquistare questo prodotto per verificare se il pH "scorretto" dell'acqua potesse essere la ragione dello stress. È da abbinare a prodotti come sera pH minus o plus (a seconda delle necessità), per aggiustare il valore del pH dell'acqua dei vostri pesci. Consiglio anche di acquistare sera KH test per la durezza carbonatica, altro elemento da controllare per assicurare un habitat adatto ai pesci.

Producto sensacional.Donde otros no han sido capaz de determinar mi nivel de pH en mi acuario con esactitud o tan siquiera hacercarse a los resultados de este. 100% funcional recomendada su compra efectividad asegurada para optimizar su durabilidad utilizar solo 2 gotas y 2,5 ml de agua de tu acuario los resultados no varian y el resultado es exactamente el mismo que con las cantidades que recomienda el fabricante a que estás esperando no busques más este test de pH es el que necesitas!!!!!!!!

Farbskala auf dem faltigen Beipackzettel?

Für eine grobe Orientierung nicht schlecht (man darf selbstverständlich keine Wunder der Präzision erwarten!) und auch die simple Anwendung überzeugt. Aber die Farbskala ist eine Frechheit. Der zerknitterte Beipackzettel taugt nicht dafür sie ausgerechnet dort zu drucken, wieso nicht ein dickeres, hochwertigeres extra Kartonstück, wie sich das normalerweise gehört? Hat es Sera echt nötig diese paar Cent zu sparen?

Un test molto importante !

Questo test è molto attendibile e molto importante sia per acquario dolce sia per acquario marino. Qual è il valore ottimale del pH? Chiaramente dipende dai pesci che alleviamo: nell'acquario di comunità d'acqua dolce il pH deve oscillare intorno a 7, meglio se debolmente acido (6,8 - 7); invece in un acquario marino il pH deve essere decisamente basico, con valori compresi tra 8,2 e 8,5. Il test è veramente semplice da utilizzare e rapido basta seguire le istruzioni presenti all’interno della confezione. Spero di esservi stato d’aiuto nella vostra scelta :)
