Fantastic results!

We had to pivot for our daughters birthday as we had originally planned on going to a place that provides a whole event around this paint and basically being able to throw it all around. We used black plastic, ultraviolet LED's and some old sheets to turn our garage into a paint room. The four girls had a blast with throwing the paint around!! There were a couple complaints that as the paint dried it started to "burn". No marks were visible so in all reality, probably just the paint pulling on their skin. In my experience, this is fairly normal. No chemical marks, the smell is quite tolerable and there is no lingering smell in the garage either after having the paint sit there all afternoon. Great paint. Came on time and with no damage. Bottle caps were screwed tight enough too which I hear doesn't seem to always happen. The girls went on the slip 'n' slide afterwards and our daughter was wearing white shorts before the paint splattering. After an hour on the slip 'n' slide they were white again! Have fun with this product!

Don't WASTE your MONEY and TIME! I guess I will buy CRAYOLA!!!! See my pictures!

I bought this paint set to use with my elementary art classes. After receiving two leaky packages I used the paint. It dried clear. I contacted Sargent Art at Amazon's request. Sargent Art responded... Manager told me that the paint dried clear because its on black paper and its tempera paint (water based), told me I would need to use acrylic paint. Uhh.. no! First of all, acrylic is also water based paint. I use tempera often on all different colors of paper, and they do not dry clear unless they are super low quality- like Sargent. I would never use acrylic paint on paper because of cost and it stains clothes. Bottom line: Sargent Art is a low quality paint with a manager- product representative who are completely clueless about their products and art materials in general. Do not bother buying this! I am still trying to get a return processed so I can get my Money back! Sargent Art: I am uploading pictures to help educate you. Spend some time getting to know your products, don't waste peoples time and money!! I guess I will see if Crayola has some neon paints, buy tried and true brands... I'll be back to write a review if I get Crayola neon. Check out the pictures... Crayola VS Sargent Art.... Clear winner, Crayola!!!!

no- get some that are not washable

colors are nice in the jar, but they do not cover the paper very well. Feels like you are painting with gel or "slime" as the kids said. They were not fans of the paint at all and asked if we could paint over them with better stuff. I think its because its washable paint (not a fan).

UV effect uneven

Blue is darker then the others. Red and Orange are nearly the same hue .... orange. Yellow fluoresces green unless it is really thick. These do NOT blend when mixed, so the pallet is limited. Needs to got on thick and heavy ..... then takes forever to dry.

I was needing UV reactive paint for a project I was doing for a charity haunted house this year and was hoping to find some at a reasonable price. Those who’ve bought UV paint before know you’d be lucky to get just one bottle the size that comes in this set comes from for at least $80 or more. At first I was disappointed in this paint as I was typically trying to apply it with a bristled paint brush. I just could not keep the paint from streaking due to the bristles and application by brush was using lots of paint in order to even out the streak but...once I had the idea to use foam chip brushed I fell in love with this paint. With two or three thin coats, that dried very quickly, I was able to get even coverage while using very little paint. I could not have been happier with the paint’s reaction to UV light. Since this is tempura paint there are pros and cons, as there is with pretty much everything. The pros are: cost effective, great glow under UV light and washes off easily with water. Great for kid’s to use. The cons: washes of easily with water so this must be used in a dry indoor location. Works best applied to non-coated paper products or possibly cotton like fabric (although I have not tested this). Will not work on plastic or metal. As long as you’re not trying to get this paint to work beyond it’s limitations you will like this product.
