Are they real Ray-Bans or not?

I have no idea if what I bought is real or fake. The frames do say "Made in China," but that's where Ray-Ban manufactures its eye glasses frames. However, when I took them to the optometrist, she claims they're fake based on the "Made in China" stamp and other factors. The frames are solid, though, and comfortable. I don't know what I bought, but I'll keep them for now.

Cheap plastic frame

This frame is made of cheap plastic material & does not feel like a real Ray-Ban frame. When you flex the temples, it makes creaks or squeaky sound. I have a RB RX5105 & the difference in quality b/n these two are night & day. I am not sure if I got a bad-defective frame or a fake RB.

Great frames

I love these frames. I tried ordering them from an online retailer but was told they were no longer being made. I turned to Amazon and found them for even cheaper! I love the matte black. The frames are heavier than my previous ones (they were thin metal), so that took a bit of getting used to for me. My girlfriend loves them on me when I wear them, so I would definitely recommend!

Best glasses ever

They are extremely comfortable. I put these on last night at the casino and was winning big at all the card tables and slots thanks to these glasses. Simply amazing. Almost like magic. I would attempt to fly off of a cliff with these glasses on, secure in the knowledge that these Ray Ban glasses would give me the powers necessary to survive the fall.

Great... but...

Great frames but received them scratches on the nose bridge. I had no choice to use them because my other glasses had broke and need something done in a hurry. Guess it was just my luck. I would buy these again.
